This hotel is located in a small town in Texas, and I was a bit skeptical of the Candlewood brand, as I stayed in another Candlewood property recently in Texas, that was not 1/2 as nice as this one. This property looks very new, is VERY CLEAN, the management went overboard to make sure my stay was the best possible experience. Highly recommend this hotel for an excellent value! June 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely experience I stayed at the Mt. Pleasant Candlewood Suites twice this month and thoroughly enjoyed both stays. The staff is very friendly, my room was sparkling clean and well decorated and had plenty of amenities, including lots of electric outlets for my various chargers, laptop, etc. This was my first experience with Candlewood Suites but I think I'll become a regular customer. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Overall Hotel in a 5-Week Trip The Candlewood in Mt Pleasant was one of those rare hotels where there was nothing to find fault with. The hotel, including the rooms, was perfectly clean. The owner and staff were very accomodating, helpful, and friendly. For this 5-week road trip, I'd rate this hotel the highest of all hotels at which we stayed - including both less expensive and more (including "much more") expensive hotels. Even though we were only "passing through" the area, we extended our stay in Mount Pleasant for an additional day due to the comfort and cleanliness of this hotel. I rarely take the time to write a review, but felt that it was necessary to acknowledge this hotel. April 24, 2013
