    Dissatisfied Platinum Customer

    I have been staying at this hotel as a business traveler since September 2013 and I am a Platinum customer with around half a million points. When I started staying at this place, they agreed to accommodate my early check-in request between 12 and 1 PM.

    During my stay I have dealt with the following.

    - On three different occasions found cockroaches and other bugs.
    - smelly rooms,
    - the beds are like a boat. For me, they put a wooden plank underneath the mattress to give some support because I started getting back pain.
    - AC/Heater not working.
    - Last week the hot water shower lever got stuck and I had to go to work without taking a shower.
    - Water constantly dripping from the toilet tank and it disturbs the sleep. I had this issue with almost all the rooms I stayed in.

    Because the wooden plank is their only in my room, I have no choice except to stay in that room and that room is seldom ready when I come to check-in between my lunch time. Due to my loyalty to their rewards program, I continued to stay their and whenever I would bring these issues, the manager would tell me it is a 27 year old property and they are working on it. Yesterday, I was told by the manager, "if you are not happy with the room, there are other hotels in the area". I have decided to cancel all my reservations and I will take up his advice and go to a different hotel.

    This is how the customer loyalty is rewarded. I plan to write to the corporate office and see what their response is.

    Simple and yet disappointing.

    Not a bad hotel if you are looking for affordable accommodations for a night. But for a hotel designed for an extended stay, my 3 nights here were all I could manage. Hotel is old, and is showing the age. Carpetry is faded and torn both in hallways and inside the suite, and has the odd smell of too much cleaning. The kitchen in the suite is functional, but old dishwasher and fridge create a constant level of electronic hum, that makes sleeping tenuous for light sleepers. Bathroom is clean and decent, but the water pressure is anemic at best.

    Did not want to wait for my accomendations to be met!

    When we arrived we were told the rooms were still being cleaned when we arrived had to wait 1- 1/12 hours for my personal room. I requested early check-in informed them coming early if check out was at 11:00 why did i have to wait so long for a room my room type to be cleaned. Had to downgrade from what i am use too did not like that idea but would have had to wait too long to get dressed for my scheduled outings that evening with family and my fiance so I took the downgrade.
