Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Some Changes Needed I do like the Gym and the Free Laundry. The Housekeeping never once came to get towels and when there over a week it came to be needed. I ended up having to take a few from a housekeeping cart because there was no person to be found. The coffee machine was broke the whole time we were there. The front desk was friendly and made the stay more pleasant. The kitchens are nice but there is no pool and the internet kept going out. The beds were uncomfortable and the noise level high while people play their music outside while they grill. There is a chili's in the parking lots which did have excellent food. August 15, 2014

The check-in and out was very easy and the staff were so accommendating and friendly. They called me by name when addressing me and that makes one feel special. Highly recommend this location. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent staff, great price, comfortable bed! I recently spent a month at this location and Nancy and her staff were outstanding! The accommodations were perfect for a long term stint. A full refrigerator, 2 burner stove top, utensils, plates, bowels, cook ware, and storage containers on site. The housekeeping ladies were friendly and efficient. The bed was very comfortable and the price was very reasonable. They also allow pets. I highly recommend anyone seeking quality space at a fair price to stop and spend their time with this dedicated staff and their comfortable accommodations. February 24, 2014

I stay here a lot - usually get large or two queen beds - this time the hotel was full so I received a one bed - which I was told was small - but not exactly how small - basically barely big enough for one average sized person - and the room couldn't get any smaller either - I toughed it out thinking at least it should be cheaper and it was all available - whoa and behold if I didn't get charged the same amount - me, my wife , two small kids - I slept on floor first night - kids stayed at inlaws the second night - I understand this is all what was available - but to charge same amount? this room should have been at least half price. disappointed in mt pleasant texas January 29, 2014

We were tent-camping at a park, when inclement weather struck and ended up storming overnight for 7+ hours!! We chose not to risk our family's safety and searched for the nearest hotel. Luckily, we found Candlewood Suites, and chose them for their chain's reputation of quality. We laid all our supplies & suitcases out to dry, and even used the complimentary dryers to dry all our clothes. It was a great decision in hindsight, too, as our tent was found with a lot of water inside the next day. :) October 31, 2013

The manager is great she always has our room ready when we come in on Sunday and she is very nice person. The beds are comfortable and if you ever need anything they will help you.When you have to stay away from home they really make you feel welcome.I will come back. September 29, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by too soft bed Checked in on a Friday night,was asked if we wanted a wake up call, said no.Was there on Friday and Saturday night and on Saturday morning at 3a.m. phone was ringing with wake up call. On Sunday morning phone was ringing about 5 a.m. for wake up call. Did not appreciate that. My husband and my back was hurting by the time we left from the too soft mattresses. The bed are advertised as queen beds but when we got there they said that they don't have queen beds just full size.but are like 6" wider than a full. The front desk clerk was not very friendly and only would speak to my husband and flirt and would not even look at me. September 19, 2013

This hotel is located in a small town in Texas, and I was a bit skeptical of the Candlewood brand, as I stayed in another Candlewood property recently in Texas, that was not 1/2 as nice as this one. This property looks very new, is VERY CLEAN, the management went overboard to make sure my stay was the best possible experience. Highly recommend this hotel for an excellent value! June 15, 2013

The staff is very friendly, my room was sparkling clean and well decorated and had plenty of amenities, including lots of electric outlets for my various chargers, laptop, etc. This was my first experience with Candlewood Suites but I think I'll become a regular customer. The hotel, including the rooms, was perfectly clean. The owner and staff were very accomodating, helpful, and friendly. For this 5-week road trip, I'd rate this hotel the highest of all hotels at which we stayed - including both less expensive and more (including "much more") expensive hotels. Even though we were only "passing through" the area, we extended our stay in Mount Pleasant for an additional day due to the comfort and cleanliness of this hotel. I rarely take the time to write a review, but felt that it was necessary to acknowledge this hotel. April 24, 2013
