    HIome away from home - cliche but true

    I have stayed at this Candlewood several times. Each time I check in I'm greeted warmly AND professionally. Even the housekeeping staff greet me as if I was a family member back again.
    They always try to give me a room in the section of the hotel I prefer - at the Gazebo end near the gas grills.

    Land of the 50%

    Everything seemed to work 50% of the time. Gym- 50 % of the equipment worked and that's being generous. Dishwasher, again, 50%. I had to break down and buy my own dish washing soap because the soap provided was so bad it would ruin the dishes. Washers - 50 % worked. Dryers 50 % but even the ones that worked were dangerous. Smelled like a fire was about to break out because the dryers were squealing from disrepair. One dryer destroyed a shirt of mine which was nice. The hotel would be nice if they just maintained the place. It was run down and nothing got fixed. Front desk staff were rarely there at the actual front desk. I think there was a computer in the back they preferred using so they would put the sign up and go chill in the back or something. The place just needs a management change up or someone to come in there and breath new life into the place. I will say that when my dishes had problems, one of the front desk guys came up with new dishes which was nice and unexpected.

Our maintenance staff is usually very quick to respond to any issues in the hotel and we are saddened to hear this standard was not met. I can assure you that when someone from our front desk staff isn't at the desk they are at another part of the property doing work. Our entire staff takes pride in the hotel and works hard at performing different tasks in the building, but of course we immediately come to needs of our guests when we are needed.     Expensive for condition of prioperty

    Stay at many cws. This one s worse for wear and expensive for its condition. Partially poorly updated and many items missing from room. Overall a reappointment relative to other cws. Oh and don't get a room on the train tracks side if you want to actually sleep.

    Nice Room, Weird Noises

    I stayed here for my brother's wedding. The price was very right, and I had no complaints about the room itself. The only issues were: I didn't understand that housekeeping would not be coming during my stay, there were weird sirens at night, and there wasn't a shuttle between the local public transportation and the hotel. Now, I wouldn't recommend staying at this location without a car, but some wedding guests were flying in to stay with other people, and they had some issues with the one mile hike from the train to the hotel.
    So: if you have a car and are a sound sleeper, just remember that you need to go ask for fresh towels. The staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. The internet works and there is a Target and a Costco right next door. The price is great for the amenities offered, too.
