Sorry, but you have 1 Queen bed in your room w/ a recliner. 90% of hotels in the real world offer at least 2 twin beds. Because of this massive problem we had to split our families between Candlewood and Crowne Plaza which is another IHG property and their experience was fantastic.
We will never stay here, nor will I recommend this place.
The staff - Monica, Ronnie, Nyjeah (sp?) were wonderful and did their best hence the 2 star.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sandyg53 extremely convenient, quiet secure location
A very good place to stay for all the sights of New York and convenient for the subway or walking..
The kitchen facility in fhe room was very convenient for making a healthy breakfast and keeping our liquid refreshments cold.
The reception staff were very helpful when we enquired how to get anywhere, etc, and when we requested clean towels they were there within a few minutes.
It was very quiet and we got a good night's sleep.
The only slight derogatory remark was that the fridge was a bit noisy at night.

When I go to New York City I would not consider staying anywhere but the Candlewood Suites. Everything about the hotel is perfect. The front desk ( Allyson, Kathy, Monica, Karlos, Bennie, etc.) are fantastic.
They greet you with a smile and it never disappears your entire stay. The location is perfect. Housekeeping is awesome- everything is crispy clean. When you meet any person on the hotel staff ( halls, elevator, etc. ) a big hello and can I be assistance follows- great staff training.
Super hotel!!!! Way to go.
