The first room I was given I walked in and it was occupied very disturbing. When I went back to the desk to get another room someone else had the same problem. Then the person working the front desk offered me a free drink on the house for my trouble and I dot even drink so I didn't care for that. But when I finally got to a non occupied room the cable wouldn't pick up off the channels. I couldn't watch the nba finals game on abc a basic channel nor would food network come in. So the tv was pointless. But the beds(I had to stay in a double bedded room not a big deal tho) was cumfy and it slept great. Could have been a really nice experiance but wasn't bc it started of bad.

Hotel staff was relatively courteous and professional. Management was far less so and this was reflected in the staff and how they conducted themselves. Unprofessional and uncaring attitude from hotel manager towards customers is readily emulated by and highly visible in how the staff interacts with those who use the hotel. I would rather use a hotel that is not as physically attractive if good customer service is reflected in interactions

Arrived on the 2nd day of travel and the room and staff were just what I needed. Comfortable and attentive. The beverage was made just right. I picked this location because of the food service.
I was not disappointed and will stay here again when in the area.

This hotel remains my favorite stop heading northward. I cannot say enough positive or good things about this hotel... the young man and lady who greeted me...got a small gift back from a local sandwich shop just down the road. It remains my most favorite hotel....on my panel.

I have traveled for the past 4 years to a retreat in Houston Tx and each year have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express (same location each year). I shared with the front desk clerk during this stay that no one had ever asked me if I was a member of the Preferred Guest List (I think I am saying this right). After having a conversation with the clerk about this matter, the young man went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our stay was enjoyable and that it was. He was so pleasant and apologized for not receiving an invitation to become a member of the Preferred Guest List. He made up for the other people not doing their jobs. We love the Holiday Inn and choose to stay no where else when we travel. The rooms are so personal, comfortable and feel like home. I am so sorry that I can't remember the clerks name during our stay, but he's an african american young man with a personality that fits the job. Please commend this young man for us on A JOB WELL DONE.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We slept well, and enjoyed two meals in the restaurant. We missed having a fan in the bathroom and the bathroom door would not stay open.

My wife and I were up for one of our grandson's HS graduation. Having stayed at this hotel before, we were comfortable with a follow- up stay and will do so again in the future.

After a long day on the road we stopped and attempted to check in. It took a while because ALL of the staff was in the bar watching basketball. Finally got our key and went up to our room. Key's didn't work, went back down waited for someone to stop watching basketball and got keys redone. Went back upstairs and found out someone was in the room already. So went down for the third time, again waited for someone to stop watching basketball and got our keys. In addition when I got the bill we were overcharged the quoted price. I'm staying away from this one.

Great staff and location for all your shopping and dinning needs. Easy to get to off the interstate as well. Our double queen room was clean and the beds were excellent. The only negative is the small bathroom. The door clears the toilet by only a couple of inches! My guess is a 5x6 area. It may have been this room only but not likely. Certainly not for large people.

We had a large block of rooms while staying here for a local event & although the hotel knew months in advance how busy they were going to be it was as if they were unprepared. For example, there were no clean towels in the pool, not enough staff working to check us in quickly. The hotel was clean & the rooms were OK. Basically the hotel was just "fine".

This was our thrid time at this location but we were hugely unhappy this stay. The room was beautiful to look at, and clean, but the price was way too high; for what we got. The box of kleenex contained only 5 pieces (I had a cold and forgot my box in the car so I know the count exactly!), the air conditioner was noisy, and there was only one robe in the room (there were two of us). Furthermore, there were no "perks" such as discounts on meals or cocktails.

Was told I would get military rate without being on orders over the phone and when I got there they said I needed orders. Staff let guess party all night even after I called down and asks if they could asks guest to lower music. Most hotels give gold members water or cookies but they didn't give me nothing.

Location is close to downtown Memphis and shopping in both Southaven and Collierville. Staff is very, very nice and speaks each time. I have stayed at this property previously and everything was very clean and quiet. This time my bathroom wasn't as clean and there were young children staying there for a baseball tournament so it was extremely loud at night as the kids were playing tag up and down the hallways and prior to 8a in the morning when they were all slamming doors and yelling down to other rooms. I would stay here again but would call to see if they have a large tournament booked for children to make alternative arrangements or request a different floor if possible.

When we checked in the front desk people didn't bother to look and see that I had already prepaid for my room through Priceline and charged my card another $200 plus dollars that is still tied up on hold with my bank. I was not greeted. I basically got a "eye roll" and "do you have a reservation". I will be back in Memphis in a month or so and I do not plan to stay at this location again.
Not all of the staff was like that. The night clerk was super nice. I thought the rooms were clean and nice. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet also.

The desk clerk remembered my name after one night's stay as well as my room requests upon my next visit over a month later. He was very prompt & knowledgeable about recommendations in the area. This is always my first go to when I'm traveling through for military duty.... Great, clean place

The Good: New hotel located in a quiet area that is very close to everything. Lots of ammenities, the hotel is beautifully decorated with nice clean quiet rooms.
The Bad: Zero recognition for club members. Nothing was ever said to me about being a club member my entire stay despite the fact that I'm a platinum member and my point total was written on my key card holder!
Also, I stayed on the 4th floor....when I checked in at 1:30pm the trashcan next to the 4th floor elevator was overflowing with trash and had a box of trash sitting on top of the trash can. The trash can was still full and the box of trash still sitting there the next day when I checked out at 10:45am despite maid carts being on the floor at both check-in and check-out.
The facilities are terrific, the staff however just made it an "okay" stay.
The was my second stay in a row with a holiday inn/holiday inn express in which there was zero recognition for club members. I'm beginning to question my platinum membership if I'm not going to be treated any differently than a non-member.
