Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean rooms and friendly staff made our stay. My family recently stayed at this Candlewood Suites in Perrysburg, OH for a long weekend where our son was swimming at BGSU. The room was clean and very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and made our stay as comfortable as possible. We needed a late checkout due to our events that weekend and the clerk was very understanding and he made everything work out for us. The location is just off the freeway which made our daily commute to the university a breeze and having several grocery stores within a short drive was also a plus. Hope to stay with you again soon! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Unfornunate circumstances Since October, 2012 I've been on a long term project at Chrysler Toledo North Assembly Plant. During that span I have spent 99 nights at the Perrysburg Candlewood Suites. When I checked in 2 weeks ago, I was informed by the director of sales that the Chrysler rate would no longer be extended to me as a contracted, non-Chrysler employee. Therefore, I have arranged for other accomodations at a hotel that extends their corporate rate to all involved with the project.This project will likely continue for the next 6 months and then require occasional service for an additional 6 months. I wish you were more loyol to your loyal guests. March 25, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service Just stayed here for a night so cant say much about the hotel. The room was very comfortable. The staff as I have found in all Candelwood suites, goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Very friendly and warm. We got in late at night without a reservation, but no wait for check in or room. The candelwood cupboard was as usual good for a quick breakfast. Why i recommend this hotel though is for the staff and their helpfulness. I left my phone in the room. I was driving and already a 100 miles away when i realized it. I called the hotel and they were able to overnight it to me. Called back twice to confirm during the day and they patiently provided me all the information including the tracking number. Candelwood may not be a 5 star hotel, but in terms of staff that i have seen in three properties now, they are 5-Star. March 3, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by WOW, Totally different since last time !! I stayed here for 11months the 1st time I worked in OH and I Loved It !! Since then the Hotel is under different management and is Nowhere near as good. Only seemed worried about money and not my comfort or the Fact I am a Platinum Elite Member. The 1st time I stayed there I had to pay a $150 pet fee for my stay and it was well worth it, This time however it was $25 for the 1st night and $10 for each additional night (Totally Outrageous). Glad I didn't have to stay 11 months. Upgraded my room to a King at check-in then Raised the rate when the GM found out I was going to be extended stay. I guess they just worry about their Bottom Line and not Their Loyal Guests. Won't stay here again. February 28, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good value Candlewood offers a spacious suite with the necessary ammenities required for a longer term stay. I stay at hotels 120-140 nights per year. I never use the pool or exercise facility. I have never used the Cupboard and I rarely take advantage of any free breakfast offers. Therefore, Candlewood is a good fit for me. January 16, 2013
