    Didn't save our room and gave us what was left

    Was very disappointed is our stay. I called prior to arrival to let them know I'd be coming in late and asked them to save our room. They assured us this wasn't a problem. When we arrived we got the last room which only had one bed and our reservation was for two beds so we didn't have enough room. Clerk made the comment that since we were paying with reward points you "get what you get" which was surprising and disappointing to me.

    As a smoker, I chose this hotel because it offered smoking rooms. Unfortunately all four of these rooms were booked not just for the duration of my stay, but for months beyond.
    The staff got me into a first floor room close to a door so I didn't have to waste a lot of time getting outside when I wanted to smoke. That is a consideration I truly appreciate.
    They responded very well when the manual door lock engaged and the door could not be re-opened.
    The hotel staff really made my stay enjoyable.
    I would ask the owners why they feel that the number of smoking rooms is so limited when they are in such high demand. Fully 20% of the adult population still smokes. Isn't their business to be sought after?

I would like to apologize for the latch having to be broken off the door to get you back into your suite. Unfortunately our maintenance had left for the day and was unable to attend to your door immediately so we made the decision to go ahead and break the door open so that you would have immediate access to your suite. I would also like to apologize for not having a smoking room available at the time of your stay however we do have a limited amount of smoking rooms at our location and being the only hotel in our immediate area that offers smoking rooms they do tend to get booked rather quickly .
