Booked as single night in transit, and never used Candlewood before so new experience.
Unusually its right in town so walkable to restaurants etc. Check in was a breath of fresh air, could not have been more friendly or helpful. Turned out all the staff we saw were the same…..brilliant. There had been a glitch on IHG website when we booked, but on arrival staff had already sorted it out. Excellent.
Nice room and ended uo staying extra night.
Very relaxing and unexpected. Would definitely stay again.

For the price of a suite, which was nicely equipped, we did not expect to wake to a night stand covered in ants. I informed the front desk, and an associate later knocked on our door with two choices - a can of RAID, or a box of ant traps.
By our own fault, we left our daughter's "sippy cup" in the refrigerator after we checked out and left the hotel. I called to ask if there was a lost and found, gave the room number, and described the cup. I was told that someone would call me back. Sadly, no one ever did.

Room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked. However, there was only one staff at the Front Desk available and her services were poor.

I always stay at the Candlewood Suites when in Reading for Business, They always have a clean and comfortable room. The service is always great.

Very nice stay, comfy bed, super clean with lots of amenities. Train going by every once in awhile was a little loud but more like white noise than a disturbance. Good value, though some other hotels in same price range seem to offer a continental breakfast with your stay. We were happy with our stay.

Found some of the staff at this hotel not the most pleasant, had many mistakes on bills when checking out, maid was not always thorough(found food left in cabinets from last person), and did not feel we got a good bargain for the amount of time and number of people we had stay their.

I was so impress with Candlewoods that I will be making this hotel my hotel of preference...Loved the kitchen and the price the most...when we opened the door it smelled very good and it was very clean too.
