Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great service and accommodating personel I arrived mid afternoon and my room was ready for me. Great space with an unexpected kitchen and all the amenities of home. Outside grill area with nicely landscaped grounds, plenty of parking spaces both outside and in the garage. Quiet relaxing, restful sleep. I will definitely stay in a Candlewood Suites again. Had a little issue with our first room, I went to the front desk, and with no questions asked, they had us changed into another room. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the kitchen and full sized refridgerator was excellent. Could not have been happier with our stay, especially for the price on a Friday and Saturday night! The customer service received was above and beyond what I usually encounter with hotel stays. One person in particular, Ivan, was pleasant, patient and above all able to assist us in getting a room for the second night when there was nothing available anywhere else. The whole hotel was very clean, the room was wonderful, and the free laundry facility was a nice surprise. Thank You for a wonderful stay. July 19, 2013

Which is a first for me, because I never cook when I'm away. If you're in Reading I suggest this hotel. I've stayed in quite a few here and this is my favorite. July 17, 2013

Myself, typically a short stay, the room was very spacious and comfortable, but offered nothing in the way of an icluded/adjacent resteraunt or bar. April 22, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by no platinum upgrade I have stayed at this property 3 times and every time I check in and request my comp platinum upgrade to 1 bdr, they tell me that they "may have one tomorrow". This has happened every stay here. After driving long distances and unpacking I am in no mood to change rooms next day and they have never asked if I am still interested in the 1 bdr. They always have my platinum request in the original reservation. I know that upgrades are based on availability but they were far from full last visit and previous ones as well. This is the only location where I seem to have this problem by the way. March 15, 2013

Parking is great, can even park in the garage under the hotel free of charge. easy access to highways. Staff is always great and helpful. Staff always fills my request of room type and area. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice rooms but bad internet The room was very comfortable and had plenty of space and there was a nice sized desk in the room where I was able to set up my laptop. There was a small kitchen complete with a dishwasher, stove, fridge and microwave. The hotel is in a nice part of town and seemed very reasonably priced. The bathroom however was nothing special and the counters in the bathroom were very small, there was not much room on either side of the sink. The deal breaker though was the internet which was not working at all. We asked the front desk to reboot the internet twice and when that didn't work we went to the front desk and got an ethernet cable. The internet still didn't work and since we were there on business we had to check out and move to a different hotel. October 16, 2012
