    Stop over on our way to northern MD

    Chose this facility because it was approximately halfway on our journey north and pet friendly. Turns out the location is in nowheresville, i.e., no amenities close by, unless one considers an "Irish" fast food outlet a place to get dinner after a 5 hr drive. Staff was very pleasant and helpful but the room was stinky from unknown food odors, carpet was filthy and the kitchen and bathroom floors were STICKY to walk on and also FILTHY.
    There is a sister facility nexy door which you might want to look into. On the way back we bypassed this place.

    Nice Hotel Under New Management

    I stay at this Hotel when ever I am in Richmond. My company tries to put in a up scale Downtown Hotel but I, myself don't like stress of downtown parking one way streets, and other things. This hotel is on the South-side and have never had a problem there. The Staff, in-particular Barb and Erica, will do whatever it takes to make you comfortable, happy, and will go the extra mile to assist you, The best part they do it with a smile, make you feel at home, and never make you feel it is an inconvenience. The hotel does need to updating and cosmetic work in the rooms, like shower heads, update the phones so you can get your messages, and new carpet throughout, but hat is about it. If they are still going to have smoke rooms then they should put really good exhaust systems in those rooms so the rest of the hotel does not smell like smoke. I am a smoker but do not smoke in the rooms nor do I want to stay in a smoking room, don't like that smell. Over all it is a nice hotel and would recommend it.
