    Candlewoods are great...but not this one

    Normally I don't write reviews. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and so are hotels. We all have different opinions and views on things, however, I wanted the hotel to know again that I am not satisfied.

    1. I added an extra person on my original reservation to my "Special Request" line so there should have been no issues.
    2. When I checked in I made sure the give the name of my guest again because they would be coming in later in case I wasn't there.
    3. The next day, my guest lost their room key and asked for assistance. She called me very upset because they denied her (because she wasn't on the reservation) and was rude to her in the process.
    4. I actually spoke with the owner and she apologized but did not really offer a solution. She said the General Manager would call me as soon as she got in. Did I get a call? No. Only after I complained again did she contact me. With a call? No, email. They gave me bonus points (which really weren't a lot).
    5. The toilet was broke and we were told no one was there to fix it. Did they offer another room there or possibly at the Holiday Inn next door? No, they did not.
    6. Did we get snarky looks and attitudes the remainder of our stay? Of course we did.

    I love Candlewood Suites and everyone one I've been to has been great, except for this one. This one is just not worth the price.

    Excellent Stay

    Has become my second home.

    I try to visit this property at least every month. Some time staying over the weekend, some time taking long weekends.

    and other times, if I am blessed, I have been able to stay over two weeks.

    this property was recommended to me. And it has not let me down yet.

    Clean and a great value

    Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. I love the space in the room along with the kitchen. Even staying a short time, having a microwave with real dishware and fridge makes a big difference as I usually bring some food with me when I travel.

    Great staff. In less than 24 hours, I met 4 different staff members. All were very pleasant and helpful with information about the area.
