We have stayed in the past at Candlewood Inn and Suites as it is comfortable, easy to access and very affordable. We like the convenience to eateries and highways and the courtesies of the staff and cleanliness and comfort of the facility, We plan to stay again in the spring for the next round of shows. By getting a room with one bed instead of two (a couple of hours before check-in I was notified my reservation for two beds made a month ago could not be honored), I ended up sleeping(?) with my fishing partner who weighed in over 300 lbs. and snored like a freight train. The bed was a Queen size - not a King - end result: no (or very little) sleep for three nights! October 23, 2014

I appreciate controlling my own temperature of the room and I'm glad there are no "motion sensors" to turn off HVAC units and television like other competitors. Surprised that I had no "housekeeping services" for a two night stay. Mattress's need to be updated and choice of pillows. I prefer feather. Extra blanket in the closet would have been nice. They are so comfortable and the service desk employee always makes sure that I have two extra pillows so that I can elevate my knees. I always ask for a first floor room and we usually get on. This year because of the ball game there wasn't any left, but that's okay. The parking is always convenient for us and we just really enjoy our stay. October 15, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hall smelled of smoke We have stayed here before and enjoyed out stay. However, this time, there was a definite very strong smell of cigarette smoke on our hallway. The smell went much further than the two smoking rooms in the middle of the hall. Other than that our stay went well. October 8, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Dirtier Than Most IHG Hotels You can tell this hotel has a new Operations Manager! The Front Desk did not greet me as a Gold Member nor was I as one! In fact they downgraded my pre-paid 7 month reservation two days before my arrival!!!! Needless to say, I won't be staying at this hotel again!!!! October 5, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel. Enjoyed my stay. This was a good experience overall. The only complaint was that our room wasn't cleaned between the first and second nights we stayed. Not sure if this was standard, since it was a suite or just an oversight. It didn't matter much because the amount of time we actually spent in the room was pretty minimal except for sleeping so we didn't make too much of a mess. :) October 2, 2014

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially since we were new to the area and needed directions. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the bath towels were fantastic!! One of the nicest things was being able to open the windows and let in the fresh air. I would highly recommend Candlewood to anyone. September 25, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Value We were quite honestly shocked with our experience. We have stayed in many hotels and this is by far our favorite. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. In fact, we considered trying to purchase the pillows. They are that comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook or snack with. The full size refrigerator was perfect for storing snacks and drinks. The location is perfect. Close to shopping and some of the best restaurants. The pool was perfect for our needs. Traveling with a 5 year old can be a hassle but, being able to check out DVDs of his favorite movies made it much less complicated. The cupboard was stocked and well priced. We are already looking forward to our next trip and hands down our choice for hotel is Candlewood. August 25, 2014

The price was very reasonable for the area. The only negative part of our stay was that there was only one person at the front desk. She was on the phone for at least 10-15 minutes booking another guest and we had to wait to get into our room after 8 hours of driving August 21, 2014

Friendly staff and they even have a DVD library you can browse and borrow for no charge. This location does offer smoking rooms, this might be standard in Arkansas, but tough to find in many other states I travel in. August 20, 2014
