Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Everything great except for no television For the price, this was a nice hotel for my 10 day stay. The room and bed were very comfortable, full size kitchen. Also nice amenities like exercise room and complimentary laundry. My only issue was the TV in my room. I was disappointed when I wasn't able to get a good picture, and I kept informing the staff at the desk about it. They did come to my room a few times to try to fix it, but weren't able. On my 5th day I was told the cable company was on site and they would send them to my room to look at the cable. No one ever showed up. I asked the staff if I could change rooms so I could have tv for the rest of my 5 day stay. On day 7, one of the staff members told me I could change the settings on the television from HD to "regular" tv and asked if I would be ok with that. He handed me a remote and showed me how to switch to "regular" tv. Which ended up being all the available channels but not in HD. Come to find out I could've had this from the beginning. So basically for a week I sat there with no television working properly and waiting for it to be repaired... all some one had to do was tell me to change the settings, I left disappointed because I was offered no apology nor any discount off my bill due to the inconvenience. When maintenance was needed in room, the problem was fixed in no time and the people were very friendly and courteous. Hooray for the new TV cable service. So much better! I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area. April 22, 2014

Nikki and her staff definitely go out of the way to be sure that all of the guests are comfortable during their stay! This location will be the only one that we stay at when in the Austin area! There were not any difficulties whatsoever in extending my stay or in any communications with the staff. The text messaging for room needs was especially convenient. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 way above expectations. always staying here when possible this place exceeded my expectations more than I can say. They have free movie rentals, and a dvd player in the room. Everyone is is so friendly, and seem to sincerely want to help in any way possible. They definitely go above and beyond there job requirements. I was also impressed by there little "corner store", which sells evetything from personal frozen pizzas, to laundry supplys. I will be definitely be staying here as often as possible. The room doors bang quite loudly when allowed to shut by themselves and not all guests even care what type of noise they make BUT it was okay because the train kept coming by anyway. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice rooms The rooms here are quite nice, we had a suite and there is a separate bedroom. The kitchen was a good size considering it was a hotel and all the dishes needed were in the room, they thought of everything! There's a laundry room there for guests and it free as well as a fitness room. The only negative thing about this place was I was given the monthly rate to pay weekly whitch was cheaper and then on the second week just because someone else was paying for it they would not give it to us at the same rate like I had been told would happen. So we couldn't stay, was quite upset! October 26, 2013

We have been staying at the Candlewood Suites in Round Rock, TX. every time we visit our little granddaughter since November of last year. From the top management staff to the clean up ladies & maintenance man, they are very friendly & courteous. We are now at a point that when we check in we tell the friendly front desk, " We are back Home ! ". We have stayed in several other hotels but none compare to the friendly staff here. We would not think of staying anywhere else? It's always a pleasure to stay here. October 17, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff. Property needs Work The staff at this hotel was very friendly and accommodating. The location is also close to stores and restaurants. However, my room had an odor to it and smelled like pet urine with some type of cleaner to try to cover it up (which didn't work). I think if a hotel is going to allow pets, then there should not be carpet in the room because the pets, at some time, are going to urinate on the floor. The whole hotel needs an updated look (carpet, paint and furniture). October 6, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Visit with limits!! Not a good choice you expect breakfast or housekeeping. This area is a car only area. Don't expect to be able to walk any where either. I wasn't impressed with the staff at night especially. It's too much to get some one to help you with bugs in your room. I couldn't wait to get out Austin & this motel!! August 20, 2013
