With limited options in Salina for places that would take my large dog, we were simply hoping for a clean room and a quiet environment to sleep after spending 12 hours on the road. Everything was extremely nice, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming. Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised. A definite recommend.

Enjoyed stay. Room was clean, and nicely appointed. No outside noise came into room. Like having a refrigerator & stove.

I felt a little overwhelmed with dogs on this last visit. The dog in the next room repeatedly barked. I called and it got better for awhile, but then the dog started up again. Then, when getting off the elevator, a woman who had been walking her dog had a VERY large dog and would barely let me out of the elevator - I am very afraid of large dogs, so this made me feel uncomfortable. This is my third stay in this hotel and my first time to experience this problem. I do like dogs - just not in a hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms are set up nice & are clean. Love the kitchen area! Staff is very friendly & made us feel like valued customers, which is hard to find now days. The pantry is amazing & all the other perks it comes with...had a very "homey" feel. Will definately stay here again & highly recommend!

We have stayed in quite a few Candlewood Suites and prefer them because we know we can bring our dog. Also they are consistently clean and the employees are always friendly and courteous.

We recently stayed in the Salina, KS Candlewood Suites. We found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. They made recommendations for dining and helped my husband with some business fax needs. This is my second stay there, and I highly recommend it. It is located close to many restaurants and to the university campus.

This property was right near a lot of great food and convenient shopping for sundries. Also, not too far from the interstate and it allowed us to relax before we hit the road again.

Recently, We have made several trips between Indianapolis and Denver. On the westward trip, Salina is a good stopping point. That said, the hotels right along I-70 have a distinct advantage. This hotel was a little farther off our route than we would have liked.
I made an error in selecting the Candlewood Suites based on it being slightly less expensive than the Holiday Inn Express on I-70. The Candlewood Suites rom was smaller, but had the kitchenette. We arrived at 9:30pm and left at 7am. No use for the kitchen. We would have preferred the hotel have a breakfast instead. The distance off our route, no breakfast = less for our money.
The staff were very pleasant, and tried to help us find dinner at 10pm in the sleepy town of Salina.
