We have stayed at this Candlewood Suites for the past 3 years while attending an annual tournament. The kitchen works perfect for us with the full size refrigerator, microwave, and two burner stove top. We don't eat out a lot so it's great to be able to cook and eat in your room. The bathroom was large and well laid out and the closet was the perfect size for us to stash our tournament equipment. However, I will recommend running the dishwasher when you are out of the room and not trying to sleep due to the noise it produces. The layout of the room is very spacious and comfortable.
We are aware of the issue with cars being broken into in the area during the tournament so don't leave anything of value in your car. Last year the hotel did have a notice alerting guests to this issue but I didn't see one this year.

This hotel is dirty. The bed and pillows smelled of Body Odor and are uncomfortable. The couch was so dirty it made me itch all over. The shower was filthy and water fluctuated from scolding to freezing. The rooms smelled as soon as you open the door. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The staff was wonderful and helpful. The room was very clean. The hotel is located in a nice and quiet area. The staff provided tour sights and provided us with times and best days to visit different locations. We were not able to stay long enought to visit recommended sights due to a family emergency, but will most definately try to make it there soon. We forgot part of our luggage and staff contacted us to let us know and worked with us to get it shipped to our residence. They were wonderful :)

We had a suite with the sofabed however when we arrived the room was missing the following items: One TV remote since the room has two TVs, the linen for the sofabed, Kitchen utensils. The front desk clerk told us that we would have to wait until we was not busy to get the sofabed linen however he never delivered to the room so we had to ask a second time with them showing up an hour later. The room was not really clean and the bath tub drain was clogged. We found dead roaches in the kitchen and hallway. Our family was staying in another room and they had some personal items taken from the room with all the towels. The manager was nowhere to be found until the 8th of July I guess he was on vacation too.

I am a frequent traveler and have stayed at numerous extended stay hotels. This is by far my least favorite. Not that they did anything wrong, but others are simply far superior in service, size of rooms, stronger internet signal, etc.There are several others where you can receive a much better bang for your buck.

I checked in with a reservation at a state govt rate (I am a state govt employee of another state) but was told that rate was for state of texas employees only. The general manager told me that he would give me a rate as a state government employee but it would be higher. Once I got my receipt, my rate was listed as: STATE OF TEXAS EMPLOYEE. Same type of rate that I couldnot have at first but I paid more a night for it. That is not a way for management to deal with customers..bad business. Bathroom door would not close. Had to bring our used dirty to front desk and exchange for clean ones. Was told that housekeeping only cleans the rooms once I check out. You have to stay 7 days or more. Bed not comfortable and their pillows like rock. The worst hotel stay ever.
