This has been the single best hotel I have stayed at as a Landman. The staff is amazing! Each staff member has gone out of their way to assist and I have come to enjoy getting to know each one in one capacity or another. I have chosen to avoid finding a hotel closer to my work because I enjoy staying here and I really enjoy talking to the various staff members. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Best hotel experience ever.

Love love the lil kitchette....and the large size of the room!! The bed was the bomb A QUEEN SIZE; is better that most full size very comfortable!! Bathroom was soooo big and beautiful! Love all the staff very friendly and smiled all the time...I work as customer service and it was a good feeling...I will come back!!
I am bringing my Mom to just relax and enjoy the room and accessories...thank you so much!! GT

This is my favorite place in S.A. to stay. The staff is great and your still close enough to downtown without the downtown price. I've stayed here about 6 times and have yet to be disappointed.

We made a last minute decision to go to San Antonio's Riverwalk for Spring Break. Due to limited vacancy, we originally booked at a Super 8, however, upon arriving, we chose not to stay there. Luckily, we found Candlewood & there were only 3 rooms available, so we got one. The Riverwalk is close by, approx. 20 minute walk, but we chose to drive. Breakfast at a Denny's was great, as Candlewoods don't serve breakfast. But everything about the hotel was great. Check in & out was a breeze, free parking (which is not common in the Riverwalk hotels), & close to major highways. We'll definately visit again.

I would recomend this hotel for business or to someone visiting San Antonio on vacation for pleasure. It is very quiet and clean with a friendly staff to go along.

Clean like new room. Friendly helpful staff. Free parking. Security guard in lot. Near attractions, but would be quite a walk. Enjoyed pantry items. Quiet. Stayed two nights. Slept well. Requested late checkout due to illness. Not an issue.

The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was disappointed because I expected two queen beds and a pull out sofa (according to the description when I booked the room). However, this location did not offer sleeper sofa rooms. Think that is a discrepancy that should be changed in the booking process. Hotel was located off the feeder road off a main highway, but was a bit hard to find.
