Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by You don't have much of a choice Texas has a different way of doing everything, and that's certainly what you have to deal with here. Chances are if you're in San Marcos, you have to be and you're not here for fun. All hotels in the area are ridiculously overpriced, so you end up here, which is also overpriced and is nothing more than an everyday Candlewood Suites, but with much less parking. To be honest, I don't know why you've decided to stay here and pay for this... Why would anyone pay so much for a Candlewood Suites? August 16, 2014
