Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by If you want to be domestic in your hotel room This was my first time in a Candlewood as it was recommended to me by my customer. I was unaware that it is more a long term stay facility than a regular hotel. Basically there was a fairly complete kitchen with an apartment size refrigerator, but I was not there to cook my own meals. I do just fine with just a microwave and a mini-fridge. Also I did not know that the room is not made up daily. Not a problem as I keep a fairly neat room. I had it made up once during my 6 day stay. If kitchen amenities are important to you, then this place is ideal. I just didn't know before I got there the type of service that was offered. Although I normally stay at Holiday Inn Express, another IHC brand, and prefer that type of service, this facility is great for a long term stay and access to cooking. August 13, 2014

The staff were very accommodating and allowed me to check in early so that I could freshen before my interview (perks of being an IHG Reward Member). The room was nice and clean and the location was long as you have access to a car. August 10, 2014

The property is very well maintained and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Each has a full-size refrigerator and cooking/sink kitchenettes. Bathroom is clean and spacious with good linens and great hot water. Highly recommend this hotel, even if you don't have a pet. August 9, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A lucky selection My wife and I had to drive to Ft Lauderdale from Washington DC. I used points to get a room at the Candlewood suites. When we arrived we were instantly engaged by the property manager. She wanted to make certain that we got the room we wanted and she engaged us in a light and funny way to find out what else she could do to make our stay more comfortable. We discussed restaurants in Savannah as that's where we wanted to go. She was very knowledgeable and gave us several excellent places to choose from. When we arrived back at the Suites after dinner, she was there and wanted to know about our dinner and service. We observed her engaging with staff and guests in a very open and funny manner. It was obvious she had trained the staff very well as they were all quick to anticipate our needs and to please us. On our way back home we again stopped at the Suites and the entire staff has obviously been trained and believe that they're there to provide care and service in a very friendly way. Since you've asked us not to use any ones name please tell the Happy, Perky Lady Manager she's doing a great job. August 4, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly and Caring Staff Our motor home had broken down and was being repaired. We needed a pet friendly hotel. Fortunately we found the Candlewood. The staff made us feel welcomed, safe, and comfortable.We spent 4 pleasant nights. When bad things happen, God puts good people in our lives. This was the staff at Candlewood. Our thanks to everyone!
