My g/f (now Fiance'), her sister, her mother, and myself all drove together from Austin Texas to stay a week in Sioux Falls. After 2 days and 20 hrs of me driving, I was ready to get to the hotel room (and away from everyone else :) ). Check in was very fast as they had all of my paperwork up and ready to go (same with the check out). Front desk staff (especially the lady working at night) was fast, fun, and friendly. She was a great relief of humor (Have you ever taken a cross country trip with your future in-laws? Yeah, you know what I'm talking about.) and was very helpful with any questions we had. Stayed in a King Suite while the Mother/Sister stayed in a Double Queen. I appreciated that the hotel put their room on the same floor as ours, but not right next to ours. Both rooms were spacious, but I liked that the King Suite has the bedroom as a separate room as this allowed my wonderful, lovely, non-morning person, Fiance' to sleep in after I got up (again, you know what I'm talking about). Room was next to the elevator and we didn't hear a thing. Very strong solid doors that block out most sound. A/C worked excellent and adjusted quickly. The only real issue I had was the first use of the ice machine in the fridge (as it of course wouldn't be turned on w/out a guest in the room). I would suggest getting a bag of ice the first night. Ice machine worked great other than waiting the very first night. Outside grills and covered seating outside was great. Bed was great, pillows were a little too soft for my liking but the Fiance' was happy, so I was happy (again, you know). Bed sleep great and made the 20hr drive back a lot easier.

Mostly it was just a place to sleep. A little hard to find the first night. Even though I booked through the IHG website they didn't have my member information on file, so I wasn't privy to the nice little member welcome bags clearly on display behind the counter. They said they would take care if it but by check out had still not added my member information, so I had to wait while they did that and complained about the program they use for members.
