Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Front desk is the best When I checked in, Saturday evening, I was treated in a very friendly manner by the gentleman at the front desk. He was personable and it was a positive experience. The next morning, it had snowed overnight, and the woman at the front desk lent me a snow scraper to get the ice and snow off my car. Again, I was treated with in a very friendly manner. As a result of the bad weather, I wanted to wait a little bit longer to check out, and they were very nice about giving me a little extra time to let the roads and parking lot get cleared off. I left there well rested, and knew that I would be returning to this property again. TOM January 11, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't Receive the Room I Booked Made my reservation on line requesting a non-smoking room with 2 queen beds. Upon check in received a non-smoking room with one queen bed. Because my husband was already unpacking didn't want to go through the hassle of repacking to move. The next morning I let the front desk know we didn't receive the room we booked, was told "well the non-smoking 2 queen bed rooms go really fast". We checked in at 3:30 p.m. What's up with that. I told her what I had booked on line and indicated that they should have matched up my request with what I paid for instead of sticking us in a room with one queen bed. All I received for a response was indifference. You would have thought perhaps if they were out of my request they would have indicated that and then let me make the choice of whether I wanted to stay or go somewhere else. Will not be returning to a hotel with such little customer service. December 3, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cleanliness The rooms were so clean my wife did not have a problem with my 1yr old crawling on the floor. The only problem we had was the bed. Both of us were unable to sleep and woke up with stiff backs. I would still recommend this hotel to any one staying in Springfield. October 24, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always meets our expectations We stay at this hotel several times each year & it is always very clean, comfortable, & the staff is quite friendly & accommodating. Having full kitchen facilities is also a big plus. Great location near restaurants & the interstate. Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else; the value & convenience make it our choice for every trip to this area. October 17, 2013

We were very pleased with the overall experience and will definitely keep Candlewood Suites on our radar. Our suite was very clean and surprisingly large and well equipped. We felt rested and ready for another day on the highway. October 3, 2013
