Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Candlewood I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. The room was very clean and modern. Another thing I liked was not having to be "bothered" by house keeping on a daily basis. The only issue I had was the parking lot was being recoated during my stay so parking was a slight inconvenience at times. Certainly not a deal breaker if I have the opportunity to stay here again because I understand that periodic maintenance needs to be done to keep the hotel a great place to stay. September 2, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lacking just a bit While the check- in was okay my IHG club imentities were never addressed. This if there were any become important when you travel alot. The staff were friendly for the most part but there were a few you could immediately sense they did not want to be there. My belief is for long term rooms rules should be tweeked. Rooms are cleaned once each week, got it but the rooms should be touched up more often without request I.e. clean the kitchen floor, update towels and no one in any hotel should have to sleep on the same sheet for a week August 31, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best in class - pets welcomed over 25 lbs. Family of three moved with large dog and Candlewood was exceptional to accommodate. Very flexible when I left before my scheduled departure date. Location is not bad either, near some great food joints in the area and Wallmart to fill some of the basic needs. Staff is also a plus, they were always on their toes trying to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Wi-Fi was also superb, in all one of the best stays in the IHG family of hotels. Book early, price is good, staff awesome, wifi a plus and great with pets. August 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Graduation Our grandson was graduating from basic training at Fort Leonard Wood and was awaiting entry to AIT. Four families came originally and we were at another hotel. When the other families left we moved out and sought another hotel. We found the Candlewood and were glad that we did. The Candlewood was less expensive than where we had been previously, was cleaner and the staff more friendly. Had we known all four families would have stayed there but it was our first visit to the area. We will be coming back to the area in December and we will try to stay at the Candlewood again. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Front Desk Service The over all experience of the hotel was good. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable even though I reserved 2 rooms side by side 3 months in advance, the rooms were way away from each other (we did get the same floor) When we checked in we were waited on by Matthew (I think was this young mans name). I have never been treated the way he treated us at any hotel. I ask why my rooms were so far apart and he was very stern and vague with his answer. He kept repeating answers that we had tried to move on from. We gave up and just wanted to pay for our rooms and be able to relax but he would not let it go. He kept on and on. We said please let us pay and we would take what ever room was set aside for us (even though I did not understand why reservations that far in advance could not have been honored). He was so hateful over the payment first one of us had to pay then he didn't care if ten of us paid. We told him all we wanted was to go to our rooms. We finally got him to take our cards and run the bill through. We went to the car to get our stuff and he stopped us again coming in with the computer turned around harassing us again over things, my son in law stepped in and stopped him because it was my daughter and myself that he was harrassing. The older man apologized the next morning and was very nice but damage was done. July 28, 2014
