The staff was eager to help me and made my husband and I feel right at home!! The rooms were spotless and the overall environment was outstanding!! We will definitely be staying here again! Check in was very easy and quick, and front desk attendants were very polite & helpful. Overall great service and very clean and comfortable. Definitley will stay here again for ball tournaments, very close to ball fields and center of town. October 3, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Decent stay; more work/training needed Upon arriving late on a Friday evening, the staff was okay, and got me a room and keys, fairly quickly, though their gossiping on the previous guest was unnecessary, and something I didn't need/care to hear... The room was extremely smoky, and if it hadn't been as late as it was, I would have gone back at that point and complained and asked for a different room. I left early the next morning, returning again late that evening, so again, I dealt with the smoke. Upon checking out around 8 on Sunday morning, I informed the desk staff that they needed to do more than throwing an orange scented plug-in air freshened into the room. That just makes the smell an awful combination of smoke and orange! They seemed disinterested and again, seemed much more interested in the conversation they were having with each other. This situation reeks of being a perfect example of where more staff training, both on the part of the front desk, and cleaning personnel, would have made for a much better stay for this guest. Ultimately, I was staying here as a way of achieving a points deal with HI, or I probably would have gone one exit down to the HIE, and gotten full points for the same two night stay, vs. the half points provided in this extended stay property. I cannot recommend this property until the aforementioned items are addressed. September 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Stay This is a really nice place to stay. Very clean and modern, beautiful rooms, with a full kitchen with everything you need and great comfortable beds. Staff was super nice, friendly and helpful. Large free laundry room. Free food and beer on Thursday evenings. A very reasonable priced drink and food cupboard. Excellent business center. Two nice gas grills on the patio, next to the pool. A short drive to the Casinos and Lake Charles. I liked it so much that I extended my stay. The free internet was a little slow due to people downloading music and movies according to the internet help line was the only thing I did not like, but that was not the hotel's fault.
