    Furniture in room was disgraceful

    Furniture in room was in very poor condition. A large part of the desk chair that was used to sit to use the internet, looked as if someone had torn off some of the top of it. The folding sofa was not much better. As most people know, sofa beds aren't that great for sleep, but this one was terrible. Hardly any foam in mattress at all. Seemed like the sofa was 10 years or older, plus it had torn arms with holes in them. The room was outfitted like a " down troded hotel from the 50's". I would have never put guests in this room, even if it was the last room in the hotel.

    Great staff and well appointed room

    Upon arrival the reception staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Even though a preferred suite was not available, the lady at desk allowed us to look at our room before taking it.

    Hard Bed and Bad Smell

    I have traveled about 40 nights a year all over the world for the last 14 years. This is among the worst beds yet. I have camped in a sleeping bag on softer earth.
    This was my first time at a Candlewood. Apparently they don't clean the rooms daily. This definitely leads to a smell that is not at all like "candlewood," but somewhere between musty basement and old dirty diapers.
    The only redeeming quality was the great staff and the snack shop. I would return only if cost was the most important factor and they were the cheapest.
