Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Home Away From Home We return to our hometown of Terre Haute twice a year and we always stay at Candlewood Suites. The location is central to the family we visit and shopping we like to do. Candlewood's full kitchen allows us to cook healthy meals and relax over a leisurely breakfast or dinner. The guest laundry is a great convenience and reduces our packing/checked luggage. The staff are friendly and truly do their best to meet our needs. The little store has necessities and snacks all day, every day. Most importantly, Candlewood feels like home when we arrive after the long flights from Seattle. We settle in and relax. May 17, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Don't pass it by! I have stayed here at least 6 times over the last year and it is one of my favorites. Located in downtown Terra Haute this hotel is safe, easy to get to and within easy walking distance of several good restaurants. It is in a refurbished newspaper office building which may seem strange, but it is clean, quiet, every room is like new and some have 12' ceilings and other unexpected quirks. A nice change of pace from the cookie cutter hotels - I recommend it! January 25, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Plan to stay again! This was the third time I have stayed in Terre Haute's Candlewood Suites hotel. I love the customer care and quiet rooms. This year was especially unique since the staff made a Thanksgiving meal for us. I would not have had a Thanksgiving Day meal if they hadn't been so thoughtful!! I'll be back! December 10, 2012
