What this survey didn't ask is what I didn't like about my stay. When we arrived we had no ice because the icemaker was off and that's understandable, but I think there should be at least one large ice dispenser on site so a guest can get ice immediately without waiting for the icemaker, which makes 6 cubes at a time. We were tired and thirsty when we got to the room. We had go get dressed and go back out to buy a bag of ice so we could have cold drinks. Take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper and want ice made when you wake! About every 45 minutes or so you will hear the 6 ice cubes being dumped into an empty plastic container and it's quite loud.
The other thing that made our stay uncomfortable was that the bed was shoved into a corner up against a wall. That meant that I had to climb to the foot of the bed each time I needed to get up. I also didn't have anything to sit my drink on because I was against the wall. Also there was no plug near that side of the bed either. I like to get on my laptop at night and do stuff and I couldn't do it for too long without running down my battery.
Internet was horrible! I had all bars but couldn't connect and finally used my phone as a mobile hot-spot.
Other than this little issue our stay was good. They have higher quality towels and linens than most hotels and better toilet paper too.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JRock34 Wonderful rooms / Friendly Manager and front desk!
My stay at this hotel was beyond excellent. Upon arriving, the front desk staff and the on duty manager were very professional and welcoming to the hotel. Checking in was fast and the room was cleaner than any other hotel I have ever stayed at. The large room with a kitchen allowed me to feel as if I was at home. Thanks to everyone at Candlewood Suites Texas City for an awesome experience!

My husband and I made a short trip Galveston way but decided to stay off the Island in Texas City. This hotel was a perfect location between Galveston and Kemah. The recliner was great for my husbands bad back. The convenience of the full kitchen with dishes was so great. We would not have had to eat out if we did not want to.
We will be back to this same hotel EVERYTIME we go back to visit family. It was like staying in a little apartment with all the comforts of home. 5 stars
Note: My ONLY complaint is the pillows. They were nice and full but HARD! I will bring my own pillow next time....but I am a pillow snob so don't go by me.

Excellent price for the service. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Good Italian pizza close that delivers there. The bed is super comfortable and the room temperature is easily adjustable. The TV and the computer is excellent. I have used the gym before. It is excellent. The coffee is great in the morning. The store is affordable and it has a wonderful selection. The only problem I had was that the guest above my room were noisy.

I would rave about this place. It was perfect for our trip. The weak signal in our room was the only issue. It is a shame considering all the rights...

The manager refused to refund my money moments after I had extended my stay when I had an emergency and had to fly home. He did not care, regardless of the circumstances, and kept my money.

Really enjoyed grilling in the gazebo at this hotel and found the candlewood cupboard a convenient plus. The employees there were friendly and professional from check in to check out.
