Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by HeyJude1 Nice hotel; Not so good service
I was there for 11 days. They did not clean my room once.
Also, I left behind my Kindle. No one had checked into the room since and it was no longer in there. Guess they finally decided to clean my room and take my kindle with them. So disappointed.
However, the hotel was very beautiful and the front desk staff were very nice. I just wish my Kindle had been reported.

Stayed one night and loved it. Staff were super courteous, hotel, room and everything in between were brand new, smelled fresh and very clean.
Couldn't beat the low price for such a place (booked through Hotel Tonight app).

Beautiful brand new hotel with all the upgrades. Spectacular views of the mountains. They have a heated pool with jacuzzi and gazebo. I almost thought of using outdoor BBQ grill and sit under the gazebo to watch the game on TV. Close to shopping mall, grocery store, coffee shop, restaurants and golf course. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great start for a new hotel. Staff are great and very attentive. You had the feeling that they had been open for longer than l week!!

Very clean, new everything. My only complaint is the low flow shower head. To weak of pressure. Not an enjoyable shower experience.

I recently stayed at the Candlewood Suites in Tucson while in town on business. The hotel was brand new, and extremely clean for a brand new hotel. I've stayed at a few newly opened hotels, and they usually have issues with post construction dust. I spoke with the General Manger who told me they had been having cleaning crews come in and clean the entire hotel from top to bottom during the last week of construction as well planning to continue daily professional cleaning for the first week the hotel would be open. That to me is a propery being very aware of what they are doing and trying to stay ahead things. I have not stayed at a Candlewood in the past and the room was very nice. The room had a kitchen, and a very spacious desk. The desk is L shaped, something I've never seen in a hotel in the past. The hotel has a little convenience store that gave a lot more options than a typical hotel vending machine. The front desk staff was very proud of their newly opened hotel and helpful with questions about the local area. Brushfire BBQ was delicious and I wound't have been able to find that without help from the Don at the Front Desk. I will definitely stay here the next time I am in Tucson.
