    Nothing was there that was promised.

    We drove 16 hours to get here and once we got there, nothing that we were told that would be there was. I was told there was a continental breakfast, a pool and a playpen for my infant. The front desk staff looked at me and said "we don't have any of that"
    So we decided since it was already 10:00 pm, we would stay the night and decide if we wanted to go to a different hotel in the morning.
    Once in the room, I was trying to get my infant to sleep without a crib, so naturally he was crying. I received 4 phone calls from the front desk within 30mins, informing me of noise complaints. By the 4th one I was told I had to move rooms. I explained to her that it was 11pm and there was no way I was going to move rooms now. The only move I would be making was out of this hotel tomorrow morning. She then told me because I wasn't doing as asked, I would have to leave tomorrow morning.
    So needless to say, we were kicked out because of a crying infant after being promised a bunch of things that the hotel doesn't even have.
    Would never reccomend this hotel to anyone, nor will I ever stay there again.

    The stay was the worst hotel visit I have ever had. I stay in hotels Monday through Friday so I've had some bad experiences in the last 10 years on the road but this one takes the cake! Truly disappointed!

    Candlewood Suites Kick Out 1 1/2 year old child for crying

    My son and daughter-in-law were kicked out of the Candlewood Suites in Tulsa because their child was crying. He was crying because he did not have a crib or playpen to sleep in and they were told that they would be supplied with one. The clerk called them 3 times that night, the first time because they were put in an adjoining room (and their neighbor beside them was a GOOD customer who had been with them for 3 MONTHS WE WERE TOLD) and one of the kids has turned the door knob to his room. The other two times was their child was crying - because they did not have a crib or playpen for them. The last call was at 11:00 pm and the clerk said they had to move NOW to another room. My daughter-in-law said WE ARE NOT MOVING NOW so the clerk said that they did not move now, they would have to leave in the morning, and we all did. I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANY CANDLEWOOD SUITES!!!

    What we were looking for

    We like to make our own breakfast with our own coffee and tea, and this night we also wanted to eat in our room from our cooler chest. The kitchen was well appointed, the bed comfortable, the room clean. It would have been a good place to stay for several days, with a larger refrigerator and amenities. It was not as upscale as another extended stay hotel we'd stayed in, but, based on the honor-system shops and the people we chatted with, we were very impressed by the quality of guests who seem to stay there. We got a great value on our room. It was a very good experience after a fairly hard day driving.
