I was in the Turlock area for several weeks for work and staying at the Candlewood was great. For a long-term stay, the accommodations were very comfortable, the staff was extremely helpful and the rooms/kitchenette are clean and very well kept. I would recommend to anyone looking for a long-term stay.

What a pleasant place to stop with a good range of shops and restaurants close to hand. The building is relatively new and the rooms were clean and spotless. We were pleased by the warm welcome at the reception and recognition of IHG Rewards membership. We used this hotel as a stop on the way to San Francisco and we can recommend the room as it was clean, had new furnishings and had good air conditioning. The bed was also comfortable and provided a good night's sleep.

I stay here very frequently, 2 to 3 nights at a time. The staff is wonderful and bend over backward to accommodate my frequently changing check-in and out schedule. The rooms are roomy, comfortable and clean, and the back patio is a nice place to relax. Safe and very close to shopping, restaurants and a grocery store, which is nice since there is a kitchen in the room. Kudos to Grace, Geoff and Morgan, always excellent!

We were very satisfied with the facility except that we were unaware that there would not be fresh towels put in each day. So we made "do" with what we had once we knew.
i really don't know why Candlewood is more expensive than Holiday Inn Express. HI Express actually offers MORE for their price than Candlewood does for it's higher price.

The hotel, its furnishings, the staff, and all that is fine. The only grief I have is all the email they keep sending.
No, I am not going to travel 90 miles to stay at their hotel just because they are having a sale. I stay at their hotel because I am traveling to Turlock, need a place to stay, and am willing to pay for quality. The actual dollar amount does not really matter.

$75 for an 8 pound dog for one night was a bit unreasonable - will go elsewhere next time. Other than that, very nice place.
