Scheduled very last minute, we were delighted we could get in the Candlewood during such a busy time in Tuscaloosa. We had never seen a town so caught up in College football fever. . Though our trip was for serious matters the hotel cheered us. The people were very welcoming and informational about what to avoid because of the crowds. We were very comfortable and would certainly return. . October 3, 2014

Clean, friendly, felt safe, etc. My only comment which is certainly not a compliant: I am not a big fan of the bathroom exhaust coming on when the main light is turned on - it was noisy. Also, as a senior citizen, a bathroom night light would be appreciated. As well, the bathroom could use more hooks for towels, robes, shaving kit etc - I believe this is a short fall in most hotels I stay. October 2, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Luxurious Towels I stayed with my daughter who was attending orientation at West Alabama for two nights and slept soundly. But the biggest surprise was how luxurious the white towels felt and didn't smell like clorox :) They were better than ones I have used at high-end hotels. The nightly price was still too high for me but it seems that the average is higher. July 31, 2014
