I JOINED THE IHG FREQUENT CLIENT PROGRAM AFTER STAYING IN THE HOTEL FOR ELEVEN.MGR WOULD NOT GIVE CREDIT FOR THE DAYS I STAYED PRIOR TO JOINING. I STAYED ELEVEN DAYS BUT ONLY RECEIVED CREDIT FOR 1 OR 2 DAYS. August 20, 2014

Full-sized refrigerator and small stove were more than adequate to deal with dietary issues. I enjoyed my stay in Tyler, TX (2 weeks). August 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very old Hotel The hotel was opened in 2003 and it really shows. This was the oldest and possibly worst Candlewood that I have ever stayed in and I stay in hotels probably 300 days out of the year. I am Currently staying in a newer Candlewood and could not be happier. This hotel definitely needs updating. Our room was spacious but very outdated. Every evening when I returned to the hotel, I would start itching. I could not figure out why. Turns out there were fleas in the room. My little dog never has fleas because he is strictly an indoor dog and stays in hotel rooms while I go to work. When we left this hotel, my dog had to have a flea bath because he was covered in fleas. My little dog has never even seen so many fleas in his life. When I say covered, I mean I had to spend an hour picking the fleas off of my dog. The only other problem that I had when I stayed was the smell in the room. There was this strong overpowering perfume or deodorizer smell in the room. I noticed that it was strongest when the air conditioning was on and had to turn the air off so the smell wouldn't give me a headache and so I could get a little sleep at night. On our last night, I took the filters out of the a/c to see if there was a something sprayed on them causing the smell that I could wash off. There wasn't, but there were some dryer sheets stuffed down in there. I used a fork to remove them and the smell seemed to die down. July 20, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by My room had fleas Got fleas on my feet and on my arms when I sat on the couch in the living room took dead fleas to the front desk and they move me to a new suite the next day we were all sick do the smell of all the bug spray and bombing that went on. If your IHG don't expect any points I bought this room under a bonus point plan still only got 700 points the hotel gave me a bonus of 300 points three night stay only 1000 points July 19, 2014
