Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by everything was great, the service fantastic I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, and was able to utilize the amenities at the sister hotel next door as well. The only thing I wasn't fond of was the entrance. Its very AWKWARD to get in. there are only 2 doors( one to enter the building, then another adjacent to enter the lobby). It was very difficult to get in. the staff was VERY helpful getting me in the door, but maybe someone could rethink the front entrance. the walkway was very bumpy as well. (I'm sure this is to ensure that no one slips, but it's overkill). otherwise a GREAT place to stay. December 11, 2014

They were very helpful and you could feel the postive energy from them form the moment you walked into the hotel. It is also located in a great spot with easy access to the highway and all kinds of eateries. December 10, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place I was here for a fishing trip so I was in my room basically to eat and sleep. It was comfortable, quiet and refreshing. Also M. Mayo was very good at his job. I had to wait to get checked in because another customer had some issues with his payment but M. Mayo took care of him patiently and made sure he connected with me and the other person waiting to come in by saying, Welcome to Candlewood, thank you for being patient, how are you doing today, just a few more minutes folks! That really made me feel like I mattered and I appreciated that very very much. M. Mayo is excellent at what he does! The only thing that turned me off was the bathroom sink faucet was built up with calcium around the aerator and that should be handled. I always carry disinfectant so I handled it. Did not get a chance to use all amenities. Also thank you M. Mayo for helping me with the landmarks in the area that I needed to get to. I plan to come back for more fishing trips and this is where I will be staying!!! December 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay Great value Had a great stay and overall experience here. any issues that i had were taken care of in a timely manner and very professionally. free laundry, full sized fridge, cook top, microwave, dishwasher and even all the dishes needed to use all of it. the self serve pantry gave the option to go grab a snack if you didnt have any grocerys in your cabnets. they have direct tv with a good amount of channels hbo included. overall good experince. i would deffinately stay there again. I was only there for a day so I didn't use all the stuff in the room but it would be perfect if you were there for multiple nights. The kitchen has everything you need in it. The staff there were also great the treated me like they had known me forever. if I ever come back to the area I would stay here again December 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff and rooms wonderful We were traveling to Virginia Beach for the Thanksgiving Holidays. The room we were given, was extremely comfortable, clean and filled with all we would need. Pillows were awesome, temperature ways worked well. hallway was quiet even though many guests had pups, just as we did. there was no "doggy smell" anywhere. the desk staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. It was a pleasure to come and go and always be greeted with a smile and friendly words. the staff was very friendly and obliging as well. We stayed here last year at the same time frame and had awesome service then too. We will be returning to the area in early for a family wedding and plan to stay here once more.
