    confusion about rate for events

    stool did not work and when called to make a reservation they did not know about the civil war rate.they said they had a reduced rate for wheaton college.Then I was connected to someone about a time share.In the end I don't know if I got the civil war rate.

    Good service but not very good room cleaning

    I stayed there for a month when I first moved to the area and in general the stay was good. Good room and service at the front desk.

    I am not very satisfied with the cleaning service as sometimes the necessary cleaning (dishwasher soup for example) products were not replaced. And I noticed that my personal skin care product has been opened and used., which was the main complaint about the stay.

    Great place to stay in Naperville

    i love Candlewood Suites! i drive animal rescue transport and often have to spend the night away from home. When i am going to be traveling the first hotel i look for is a Candlewood Suites. i know i will get a good nights sleep in a comfortable quiet room. the large desk/eating island is fantastic to spread out all my paperwork since i am usually heading out the next day for another transport.
    i also know that the staff will be fabulous! everyone i have ever stayed in has the nicest most helpful staff. i have begin doing regular runs to Naperville since Dec. 2014 and they know me now and treat me and my service dog like family. they treat new folks the same way.
    i really love the staff!
    one of the first time i stayed i had a problem with my room. not going to go into details, things happen. what was important to my was how they reacted and how they fixed it. they were sincerely upset that i had that issue and they fixed it beyond my expectations. i have had no problems since them.
    the only other comment i have concerns the front entrance of the building. the way its set up you cant easily pull up to unload and the entrance to the lobby area is hard to get through with a luggage cart or just carry your luggage. you have to go through 2 single doors that do not have automatic door openers not even the kind you push a button for handicapped.
    overall i love this hotel and the staff and will continue to stay here when i make my animal rescue runs to the area.
