Thanks to the FANTASTIC front desk staff as it is something that would make me come back to Candlewood at Naperville.
The shuttle service is GREAT too!!
1) The Room furniture could have been better.
2) House keeping could have been more frequent. (once a week is sporadic)
3) Would have been great to have a swimming pool (but that would probably not come at this price)

The smell of paint permeated the hallways. The heat/ac control did not work - it was either on or off. The shower flow was "no-flo", not "lo-flo".
The room was clean and well laid out - the bathroom was larger than expected. We did not use the kitchen facilities, as we were there for only 2 evenings, and did not return the room until late both nights.

Didn't realize it was an extended stay type of facility when I booked. (They did not clean my room during my stay. Also, if you run out of towels you will have to ask for more.)
The room was clean and the kitchenette was decent. The only downs were the air conditioner was loud and the office chair was very worn and didn't adjust well enough for my 6'3' frame.
One final thing. The exercise room is minimal. The Candlewood literature states that there is a local gym you can use but the desk staff said it didn't exist.

good stay for what we needed. A place to stay after a concert. One small issue that was eventualluy fixed by the front counter person. Outside was very dirty due to local festival but hotel should have staffed for this

I loved that I was able to bring my own food and prepare my own meals. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet...no problem getting to sleep and so I could get up early for business meetings.

After traveling from Detroit to this area I headed to CS hotel. First bad thing is that there are only one bed rooms, this is not noted anywhere on reservation pages. When I made reservation I choose the option of Standard Suite and description was "When you arrive at the hotel we will do our best to meet your suite bed type and smoking preferences these are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed" I think that will be beneficial to guest to know that the only bed type available is the queen bed and only one bed per room. We arrive late at the hotel, around 22:00 hours, we only drop the luggage on the single bed room and go out to dinner and meet friends. When returning about 01:30 AM the parking lot was full, no single space was available, and a huge pickup truck with mobile home was using about 7 parking spots. We went inside to meet front desk personnel in charge and she indicates to us that we need to park outside hotel property, in an outside lonely street, and definitely having license plate from another country that was something I was not willing to accept. I called IHG rewards line to support and nothing can be done, per hotel policy I need to pay the whole night basically for leaving the luggage 4 hours on the room because the "room is guaranteed but not the parking space" . I made an extreme-urgent-early check out and at 3:00 AM I was heading to a new hotel. One good thing of this hotel is the honesty and integrity of the hotel staff; on the rush I leave a leather jacket on the room, when I notice the lost of my jacket I call the hotel 4 days after I leave and the front desk personnel tell me that the jacket was on front desk as it was returned by housekeeping personnel. This was great and the only good experience. Also I received and email from personnel staff to review the troubles that I have during my stay, this was also a good point.
