A very nice and convenient place to stay; staff was very courteous and the rooms were comfortable. Pool area was very nice and welcome at the end fo the day. Dryers provided allowed you to dry your wet bathing suit after use. September 17, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Never Again! Room had a foul odor, sheets were full of pills and the noise from other rooms quite evident. There was a hostile guest at the front desk who was told to keep the noise down in his room and he ranted for about 10 minutes to the front desk person, who handled him well but not a very very "desirable" guest. He should have been asked to leave, or I should have asked for a full refund and stayed elsewhere. September 10, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel. Pool could use some work. We stayed at Candlewood due to it's proximity to Six Flags and it having an in-door pool. While it was easy to get to from the park, the pool was unfortunate. It was over-run by a group of young children (screaming, splashing, diving) and the room for the pool was too small. Every noise was amplified and there was no one making sure the rules were being followed (of course, I would have expected the parents). Other than that, the common areas were clean, the staff was friendly and the suite was just what we expected. We would stay at another Candlewood, but, not this one. My two small children LOVE the pool and we don't want to have to go to the boiler room in the basement to enjoy it. August 28, 2014
