Great experience with our first stay at Candlewood. Very helpful front desk staff, clean and big rooms, good value. Plan to use again. Thanks for the great job - we were road weary.

My start of my stay at Candlewood was when I was greeted by an unsmiling girl at the check in counter. The room was very nice and the cupboards had a variety of things you might need to make something. As for sleeping, the pillows were rocks and I had a difficult time getting comfortable. Not to mention the silverfish that was in the bed with us. DIRTY! After my arrival I found out I would be staying an extra day. They charged me more then what I paid with an online web site. (Fine, you have to make money somewhere.) But the day I was departing I was told I might have a refund by the girl at the counter. But was then was told never mind because the manager said I didn't have one. All in all a poor experience. I would not recommend this place location to anyone.

Truly a "home away from home", Candlewood at Yuma made me comfortable in every way. The room was reasonably spacious, quite attractive, well laid out and well appointed. And best of all, everything worked(!), from the A/C to the TV to the plumbing. Special amenities beyond the usual included use of barbecue grills at an attractive patio; the fine outdoor swimming pool a few yards away at the next-door Holiday Inn; and a quiet "office" type room for doing business. I enthusiastically recommend Candlewood Suites, especially for extended stays.

I loved satying at CandleWood the staff was accomodating. They provided transportation for all my needs instead of having to call a cab. On checkout day they extended my check out by an hour at no charge just so I could have an enjoyable breakfast at a restaurant, that they so nicely suggested and provided transportation to. I highly recommend CandleWood!!! I am a flight attendant and a room is always a room but the staff at CandleWood in Yuma makes this place extra special!!!

I was apprehensive about staying here because the reviews didn't seem that great. This hotel was wonderful. Very clean room, large, and the staff were very pleasant. I will stay here again for sure when I am in Yuma.

Even though a bit pricey, our great experience at other Candlewoods around the country (IL, FL) was a deciding factor for our choice. Candlewood Yuma did not disappoint. My husband and I had put our truck in safe haven at a nearby military installation for the weekend and had to get a hotel. We had no transportation of our own and the hotel shuttle was efficient and friendly, taking us to a nearby shopping district with restaurants, Our stay in the hotel was comfortable with friendly, accommodating staff. As always, we felt "pampered" with a clean room and ammenities. Thank you again, Candlewood, for being all we hoped for.

I left a banana on the kitchen counter. When I woke up in the morning, the kitchen area was crawling with what seemed like thousands of ants, and they were trailing down the front of the cabinets and crawling in a long line across the entire floor over to the bathroom, where they turned and marched along the doorjamb into the carpeted area between the bed and the wall. Before I knew it, I had ants crawling on my feet and ankles and biting me! When I checked out (as soon as I could), all the front desk guy could do was say he was sorry and hand me the bill for the room. I guess they threw the ants in for free. I felt like I had bugs crawling on me for hours afterwards,
It is a shame, since the property seemed nice and the dinner served to guests on Thursday was a nice touch. When I called earlier in the day asking the hours of the dinner and saying I might not be there in time, the lady working the front desk made a plate for me and kept it in the refrigerator until I arrived. Above-and-beyond customer service from her!

Room and service were very good - I booked online with points and money for 4 days - There was a change of plans and I had to leave two days early - I tried to cancel reservation online - Wouldn't let me - I went to the front desk and asked the attendant if she could cancel so I could get my points back - She said she could cancel but I wouldn't get any points back - Maybe this is written in the fine print somewhere but I didn't see it - If it's there and I had seen it I wouldn't have booked Candlewood - As it is, I will never book Candlewood ever again - Some time things change that can't be helped - I have always like Holiday Inn because they are so Accomidating - As it was it was a very expensive stay -
