Featured Amsterdam Hotels

Our 11 hotels in the Dutch capital include three Crown Plaza hotels. These Amsterdam 4 star hotels include one right in the city centre, one just on the edge of the city centre and another by the busy airport.

Amsterdam is a charming city, with much of its 17th century architecture still very much in tact. The city has often been referred to as the 'Venice of the North,' owing to its more-than-60 miles of canals and 1,500 bridges. So make time to walk around. The Prinsengracht Canal, in particular, is a beautiful walk. Along this canal, you will find attractions such as Anne Frank House museum, the Northern Church (Noorderkerk) and the Western Church (Westerkerk).
Make time to see some of the city's other monuments too, including the Weeping Tower, the Bridge of 15 Bridges and the National Monument. There are also over 60 museums and galleries in the city - enough to keep anyone busy.

A hit with tourists, Amsterdam's Zoo lies just to the East of the City Centre.

Shoppers might prefer to head to some of the city's many markets. The Albert Cuyp Market is a brilliant food market, while the Dapper Market sells all sorts and is great for bargain hunters. Amsterdam's Negen Straatjes is centrally located and awash with vintage shops and boutiques. If it's High Street brands you want, though, head to Kalverstraat and Leidsestraat.

Football fans will want to make time for a visit to the Amsterdam Arena, home of Ajax.

You can fly to Amsterdam direct from a number of UK cities, including London, Glasgow and Manchester.

One of our 4 star hotels in Amsterdam is right by the airport too, perfect for those late night arrivals or early morning departures. So why wait? Pack a bag and visit Amsterdam.

Ijmuiden - Seaport Beach
By NJMurley
A fantastic hotel, it was a pleasure to stay here. Great views both sides of the hotel create a nice atmosphere. This would be a great place to stay in the summer/in good weather as very [More] picturesque! Travel into Amsterdam was an hour on the bus, was also about 45 minutes by car so not the closest if you want to explore Amsterdam. however the bus stop is directly outside the hotel so gives you the option. The food for breakfast was very good, the only downside was the price of soft drinks in the bar being significantly more expensive than the alcoholic. €12 for a lemonade whilst only €9 for a JD & Coke? Great place at the sea!
By Maxyvelar
We have stayed in this hotel for a relaxing weekend. Great staff, very helpful and polite. The rooms were very comfortable with sea view! Restaurant was good for an very nice breakfast buffet with a [More] large choice of hot and cold items, variety of bread, ceareals and juices! One night we had dinner in the restaurant and was also very good and tasteful. Nice staff as well!! [Less]
Comfortable Stay, Far from Amsterdam
By mmarie87
Although this hotel doesn't look too far from Amsterdam city center on a map, the traffic alone will take you 45 minutes driving and over an hour by bus. Parking in city center was 55 Euro for the [More] evening. I would recommend a taxi ride (about 70 Euro each way). My room was very clean and large, with nice views. The front desk staff seemed a little less than the level of friendliness that IHG hotels have, but they were not rude. The breakfast buffet was lacking in options, but the coffee was good. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Had a hard time finding outlets in the room when I needed to get ready. [Less]

Good location, few minor issues
By Eelco
We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the Ziggodome. The location is excellent for that purpose: after the concert we walked back in 10 minutes. Also within walking distance of shops, [More] Arena, HMH and train station. There are a few minor issues to improve however. First of all; the staff at reception was friendly but we were greeted with 'hoi', which is no problem in a pub, but to me it is in a four star hotel. Second: the staff in the restaurant was friendly too, but we had to wait quite long for our food. Our neighbours waited around 25 mins for a simple cheese platter (no cooking here), which is just too long. This is certainly not the staff''s fault, it simply means management didn't plan adequatly on a busy saturday night. Third: prices in the restaurant are too high. 17,50 euro for a burger and fries is too much. I will probably stay here again when visiting the Ziggodome -nit when visting Amsterdam proper- but I won''t go to the restaurant again. [Less]
