Featured Edinburgh Hotels

We have 9 Edinburgh business hotels spread across the Scottish capital. Wherever you need to be in the city, we can make sure you're close by.

Edinburgh is a popular tourist spot as well as economic Scottish hub. Make sure you find the time to take in some of the attractions. If the weather's good, then Arthur's Seat is a must visit. This is the main peak of a spectacular group of mountains and the climb is well worth it for the views across the city. Edinburgh Castle is another sight you simply must see, followed up by a wander through the Old Town's historic Royal Mile which is essential.

Edinburgh's 30+ museums include the National Museum of Scotland, the Scotland National Gallery and the Scotch Whiskey Experience. After all that culture and history, you'll have earned a shopping trip and Edinburgh is happy to oblige. As well as the numerous independent shops and boutiques that populate the city's streets, there are also a number of bigger shopping centres. St James Shopping Centre is the most central of those, housing a number of high street brand stores.

Edinburgh is home to two rival Scottish football teams - Hearts and Hibernian. The city is also where you will find Murrayfield Stadium, home of Edinburgh Rugby Union team (and where the Scottish national rugby union team often plays).

The Scottish capital has its own international airport as well as excellent rail connections to other cities in Scotland and to London, Newcastle, Leeds and other major UK cities. The city is located on the A1 road, connecting the city with the North East of England, North Yorkshire and ultimately London.

Make the most of your stay here by staying at one of our Edinburgh Business Hotels. We can make you right at home in the heart of the Scottish capital.

A totally trouble free experience.
By Jockalita
As an older traveller I found and have always found the hotel easy to use.The car parking is a blessing as my partner is disabled.Every facility does what it says on the tin.I cannot fault any member [More] of staff. [Less]

Good location and courtesy bus reasonably priced. Rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are comfy. Nice breakfast is included. [Less]
A representative stay at a HEX
By adricornell
It is literally 5 minutes away from the airport, so if you have an early flight, it is ideal. The shuttle to and from is reliable as well and didn't take more than 10 minutes to arrive. Continental [More] breakfast starts at 4, which is a good touch, considering it's location, but one downside is that they don't offer to go bags, which, quite frankly, most people with a super early flight would prefer above wasting time eating in the hotel when they could be sleeping! The beds were a little soft for my liking but fine, the room was an ok size for one person and including a small sofa, which I liked. Outlets were decently available, so no issue there. They don't have any bathtubs in the hotel, which was a bit of a bummer for me. Although they have a 24 hour menu, all of the really good warm foods are only available from 5 to 945pm! All in all, it was a decent stay. [Less]
Stylish and comfortable hotel in a convenient location
By BotanyJo
Hotel Indigo in Edinburgh is in a great location, next to the tram stop for the airport/Princes Street and within easy walking distance to the railway station and city centre amenities. It is a [More] stylish hotel in several converted Georgian houses. The rooms, although quite small, are comfortable and distinctive. I always get a good night's sleep at Hotel Indigo and enjoy all the luxuries (Aveda toiletries, i newspapers etc). The staff are always helpful and make me feel personally welcome. [Less]
Botanic Lights
By H0telrev.
Stayed at Hotel Indigo for Botanic Lights. We are delighted by our reception at this Hotel and as we used the dinner facilities we were pleased. Next time in Edinburgh if available we will use Hotel [More] Indigo. It was cold outside but this hotel was lovely and warm. [Less]
Relaxed and pleasant hotel
By Colin749
We stayed overnight at hotel Indigo as part of a Christmas shopping trip to Edinburgh. We were delighted. The staff were friendly and very good. Location for shopping was excellent. Our room was very [More] good, although just a little small but this is not a significant complaint. Breakfast quality was first class : freshly prepared an nicely cooked. Overall, we were very pleased and would certainly stay at the Indigo in Edinburgh again. [Less]
Still great !
By Bazman
I have now stayed at this property several times and plan to stay there every time I am working in the area. I have even planned to stay there privately next year as I am so pleased with the whole [More] aspect from the checkin to the checkout. Like others have mentioned before I do sometimes miss not having bacon on the breakfast menu but cannot in all honesty mark the hotel down for this as I am well aware this is in common with other H.I. Express hotels. I can only say - keep doing what you do as it is fantastic ! [Less]
Welcoming experience

The hotel lived up to expectations, comfortable, warm and relaxed atmosphere. [Less]
Bog-standard HIX
By Pungent
Entirely adequate but unremarkable stay. Exactly what I expect at a HIX. The one non-standard thing was the amazingly friendly receptionist. [Less]
