We have ten Glasgow business hotels across Scotland's second city. Whether you want to stay in the heart of Glasgow's theatre district or slightly out of town, we can accommodate you.
Glasgow is a bustling city, popular with nightlife seekers and museumgoers alike. The city is littered with landmarks that will have you reaching for your camera: the City Chambers building, Duke of Wellington Statue and impressive Clyde Arc Bridge. There are also more than 20 museums including the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Hunterian Gallery and the Scottish Football Museum.
Would any trip to a UK city be complete without a shopping spree? Glasgow has plenty of options for shoppers. The city is known for its huge Barras Markets open each Saturday and Sunday, where you'll find bargains galore. The Forge Shopping Centre delivers high street brands en masse with over 70 shops to choose from.
Glasgow is home to one of the world's fiercest football rivalries: Celtic and Rangers both play their football in the city. If you're lucky enough to make it on a derby day, the atmosphere is a once in a lifetime experience. Glasgow also has a professional rugby union team.
The city is well connected by rail to Edinburgh and to major cities in England. With its own dedicated international airport, you can reach London by air as well a number of other international cities.
So check in to one of our Glasgow business hotels and however long you're staying, we'll help you make the most of your time in Scotland's second city.
1st class service from all the staff.
In particular I must name 3:
Mary - for being my chaperone in locating the car park
Kelly and Gordon - for allowing us to get some breakfast on the Sunday[More] before it officially opened (as we were leaving very early)[Less]
Pleasant first-time stay
Booked for a transparent price that included breakfast and parking this hotel turned out to be an excellent choice all round - comfortable room, well soundproofed and convenient parking nearby.[More] Breakfast was good quality and there were plenty of tables available despite the hotel being busy. I didn't eat dinner there as there was a nice looking Italian restaurant directly next door, but perhaps next time I will give the evening menu a try too.[Less]
Fit for purpose for short stay
HI Express Riverside is well located for Glasgow City Centre. Generally a basic feel about the hotel but clean and rooms were quiet.
Complimentary breakfast available but nothing special. Only one[More] plug point in the room and slow internet.[Less]
Great hotel in a great location
By bill from canada
Exception location, 5 minutes from Central Station and one block from the airport bus route. A good choice of restaurant and atractions all within walking distance. This would be my first choice for[More] a return visit[Less]
excellent stay - comfortanble space and wonderful staff
The overall staff welcome, helpfulness and attention to guest needs was excellent. Facilities, room, restaurant and gym all great. Highly recommend this hotel.[Less]
Great hotel, comfy bed, modern deor. Really close to the train station. Handy for city centre and quiet enough for a good night's sleep.[Less]
Stayed here as part of a motorcycle group tour. We had a very pleasant overnight stay and were made to feel welcome.[Less]
Bring back the Bacon
I really do like staying at this hotel. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are clean and modern.
BUT it does need to "Bring back the Bacon" to the breakfast buffet. The Sausage is okay,[More] but it needs the company of a nice rasher.
The message couldn't be clearer Bring back the Bacon.
I will return regularly to check the progress of my campaign.[Less]
Great hotel. Near but not close to railway, took a 15 minute walk, but taxis are available. Room had full air conditioning, which was needed! Great king size bed, even my 6ft4 frame was all in. First[More] time in express, will DEF do again.[Less]
