We decided to have a short break, it was a bit of a last minute idea and knew that prices any where might have crept up, so we looked for somewhere out side the city as such but near enough to plan a
day and use rail/bus or underground. Having used another Hoilday Inn express else where, we opted for London - Ealing. Apart from making the first initial mistake of getting off at Ealing Broadway and walking to the hotel on a very hot sunny day, the staff pointed us in the right direction, use a bus or getting on at West Ealing station - easy access to the main line and then onto the underground.
The hotel is new, the furniture is new, the smell is new and it's a lovely place to stay...it is near a main road and that can be busy with the usual main road sounds especially if the windows are open but they can be closed and the air conditioning put on.
We will be back, we have found a good centre point to start any trip into London. [Less]
