I frequent this property whenever I'm in Fukuoka and have always received excellent recognition and service at this outstanding property. I stayed there again from 1/1/2016 - 3/1/2016 and was well
treated by all staff members at check-in, at the lounge and at the lobby until I checked-out on the morning of the 3rd. At check-out I was asked to pay for a snack which I did not consume in my room. When I explained politely that I was not aware of this and had not consumed the snack, I was immediately treated as though I was lying and the concerned staff member became vert curt and impolite, as though I was trying to avoid the charges. I've been to Japan enough times to know that this is no cultural misunderstanding and this was just downright rudeness. Never had I experienced such rudeness at a hotel in Japan. As I was in a hurry for my flight, I didn't have time to record down his name, and on my bill, it states the cashier as no. 21. It is very unfortunate that the wonderful experience has been ruined by this particular member of staff.
Apart from this one rude staff, everything was excellent as usual and I will not hesitate to return to this property for my next return this summer. [Less]
