An excellent hotel in an really convenient location.[Less]
Good hotel let down by average breakfast experience
Lovely hotel with nice rooms and staff.
However each morning we had to queue up to 15 minutes to be seated at breakfast. The breakfast restaurant was clearly understaffed as there were many tables[More] free, but there were not enough staff to ready the tables for the next sitting.
After paying between £14 and 20 pounds per person for breakfast, this shouldnt really happen.[Less]
By The Halls
This was our third stay at the Hotel and we loved it. The hotel is situated right opposite Blackfriars Tube Station but you can easily walk to St Paul`s, Covent Garden or Westminster so the location[More] is excellent. Rooms are really nice and staff always very friendly.[Less]
Great, convenient hotel.
Excellent value for money in great location.
The room was smart and clean. The bed was really comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The location is great - a short walk to the London Eye and[More] the river. Southwark tube station is only a few minutes away.
Breakfast was include in the price and there was lots to choose from.[Less]
Good value in the City
Room price excellent for a hotel so close to Southbank highlights. First room we were given resembled a cupboard (truly terrible) however I asked for another and we were given an 'accessible' room[More] which was spacious and comfortable. Quiet, good night's sleep and reasonable breakfast (although not such a good selection as HIE Stratford!)[Less]
Great hotel in fabulous location
This hotel is conveniently situated right in the heart of Southwark, very close to Southbank, 5 mins from Blackfriars Bridge and all modes of transport.
The staff are helpful, professional and[More] smart.
It's clean and practical and a very peaceful place to stay.
I found it a little expensive this year and wondered if they increased their prices to coincide with the jazz festival, as prices now have dropped.
I've been before and hope to visit again next year.
There were one or two small issues about my room, but overall, I can recommend this efficient hotel.[Less]
Classy Hotel and restaurant
By Paul A. R.
As expected, the hotel was very up-market, yet for the price, very affordable. The adjacent Asian restaurant was very nice, very pleasant staff, and the food very authentic (my wife is a Thai[More] cook).
I recommend this for anyone needing to stay close to many attractions or consulates.[Less]
Returning for concert at RAH
We have stayed here on many occasions for concerts at RAH as it is only 10 minutes stroll. Good for Oxford St shopping, a stroll away across Hyde Park. The hotel is the only place we stay when in[More] London as the facilities are top class and the staff are brilliant. Would recommend for both pleasure and business stays[Less]
By Travellers Needs
Overall good impression and what you would expect from this level of hotel. Due to London being busy had to pay high price and wait for room. Although the staff did allow us to use the lounge[More] facilities whilst waiting.
