Manhattan Suite is Awesome!

Location is great and view from Manhattan Suite is gorgeous. Great Staff. Stay here when we travel to New York. Staff is extremely accommodating and helpful. Consider this our Hotel in New York. Good value (for NY)

Relatively large rooms (for NY). Close to subway. Have stayed at the hotel a number of times. Staff is nice. Good value for the money. Neighborhood is improving, but still not many dinner options in [More] the ares. NY was cold early January, which apparently caught the hotel by surprise, as whole hotel, and especially the breakfast area, was very cold. As in many other US hotels that advertise "high speed internet" you get about 2-3 mbps, which is quite slow if you need to do some work. [Less]
Wonderful olde worlde hotel

We split our visit between two hotels in NY, this one and the Crowne Plaza Times Square. We didn't know how far out we'd be from the action at this location but we needn't have worried, it within [More] walking distance of all the attractions, and grand central station is on the doorstep. The hotel has an old grand feel about it, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was good, the bathroom was a little cramped and dated but the bed was wonderfully large and comfortable. I think the hotel was closing shortly after our visit for refurbishment so maybe the bathrooms will be updated. We had a room on the 6th floor (one below the top) and we faced onto a busy street but heard minimal noise. I do hope then they refurbish they don't take away the old charm of the place because it really is a little haven in a very busy city. [Less]

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay. The junior suite was awesome and having a second bathroom was wonderful for 3 ladies traveling together. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel was [More] conveniently located near Time Square. Glad we chose this hotel! [Less]

And together, when that occurs, you have a [More] stand-out Hotel that deserves a mention among any World Class List of top Hotels. This is one such property under the leadership of their Managing Director. My wife and I were returning from Asia from a long trip where I had some health issues. Way before arrival, the MD had not only my preferred room ready but arranged for an asst manager waiting with a bellman way after normal hours to help store luggage and escort us to our upgraded room so I could get some rest before my journey back to Washington the next day. He also arranged for my son to have a room near ours so we could visit before leaving. This is our go to hotel not just because of its great location in Times Square, its gym, restaurant, and its generous welcome for elite members, but because of the superb customer service experience that rivals what guests think only exists offshore. This hotel rocks under the leadership of their Managing Director. [Less]
Great Sleep - To Long to check and Baggage

The Hotel was very clean and the staff very nice and accommodating. My only negative, is it seemed to be understaffed for check in and check out and with the bellman. I had to stand in line with [More] Bellman when I first arrived for 35 minutes. There only seemed to be one nice older gentlemen running a bit ragged collecting and retrieving bags. Checking in was about a 20 minute wait and check out similar 20 minutes. This lessen my experience. [Less]
