NICE HOTEL - FRIENDLY STAFF
By KingwoodMom
We had a good experience at this hotel except for there was no hot water one morning due to the boiler malfunction. Everything else was very good - including the breakfast. [Less]

Quick Visit
By mnoly
I stayed at the hotel to be close to my aunt who was having surgery. The staff checking in was very nice and helpful. The entire place, including our room, was very clean. The breakfast was pretty [More] good, my toddler loved it. The only two things I would say weren't great was the fact that the handicap room that they moved us to (we had to be switched from an upper floor because the handicap room was very far from the elevator) was not actually very handicap friendly and the second thing was the Front desk clerk when we were leaving couldn't seem to look up from her computer screen to acknowledge we even existed. My repeat visit
By SueH1360
We had stayed here before and weren't very happy with several aspects of our stay. I booked this hotel accidentally, thinking it was another we had used. It was a fortuitous mistake, as this visit [More] exceeded our expectations. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was wonderful. Ashley at the front desk helped me with my wifi reception and went and looked for my ipad herself when I thought I had left it when we checked out. Aside from the slow, slow elevator and super crowded breakfast area, our stay here was perfect. [Less]
Good value, relatively close to riverwalk
By TracyS1010
For the price, this hotel was good. It is approximately 1 mile from the River Walk, but since we arrived at night, we did not walk there. There is a motorcycle club across the street from the hotel [More] and that may throw some people off, but it was quiet after 10pm. Had a few minor room issues that I reported at checkout and the girl said she would pass them along but overall it was a nice hotel for the price. Lady who checked me in could have been more professional, she was on the phone with what appeared to be a personal call and made no effort to put it on hold or acknowledge me until she was done, she was nice enough, just not what I have grown to expect from IHG properties. Checkout girls were very friendly and overall it was a good stay. [Less]
San Antonio-Dtwn Market Area
By jdciv
My family stayed at the San Antonio-Dtwn Market Area location for 2 nights during a soccer tournament. We had 12 team members and their families stay. Overall experience was great. Just a few things [More] that could be improved on. Front desk employee was sitting down texting and continued texting for at least a minute with out any acknowledgement when I approached the desk for some information. A cleaning rag was left by the sink when we checked in to our room. The location of the bathroom sink is sort of weird. If you have a guest getting ready at the sink area, other occupants have to pass back and forth by them to move about the rooms. I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express throughout the country, mostly for business, and they have always been a overall great experience. [Less]
