- Von der Centraal Station sind es ungefaehr 5 minuten zu Fuss (natuerlich ist es auch moeglich eines der Taxis vor der Centraal Station zu nuetzen). Ueberqueren Sie die Bruecke vor der Centraal Station und die Strasse danach, dann folgen Sie dem Buergersteig nach rechts und nehmen die zweite Strasse nach links. Danach sind es nur 70 m gerade aus bis zum Hoteleingang.

Good hotel, good location, small bathroom

The hotel room was very good, very clean. Large and comfortable bed and pillows. The height is a little on the low side, but not a big deal. Relatively large room, no complaints. The bathroom was very small. It's difficult to "sit" on the toilet, sorry but can't say this in other way. Almost no room for your legs. Could be just my exact room, I don't know.
Also I don't like bathtubs as they are uncomfortable to shower. Shower cabin would be better and would leave more room for the toilet seat.
Overall experience is very good and I would definitely consider this hotel in my next visit in Amsterdam. Will ask for larger bathroom of course.

Great location, friendly staff, great place to stay

stayed for 6 nights and had a great experience. staff was friendly, concierge came through with futbol tickets, hotel was clean, modern, and in a great location. would stay here again if i returned to amsterdam.

Nice Hotel But Fitness Center is Barely Adequate

Nice hotel with a great location by the train station and in the city center. We were expecting a hotel like the Intercontinental but I realized later that the Crowne Plaza is a level lower.
The room was like a Holiday Inn (in the USA) - standard, nothing special. Small bathroom and the hotel gives the minimum number of towels.
It was my son's 18th birthday and the chef brought us a very nice plate of pastries. Very kind gesture.
The Fitness Center is barely adequate. The 4 machines work a little and the bike is broken. They are like machines from the 1970s. I asked 3 mornings for the remote control for the TV but it never was there so the TV had to be changed manually.
The internet was free because I am an IHG member (it's free) but the guest has to re-sign in every day.
Front Desk and Concierge were helpful and friendly.

Why NO wifi ???

There is no excuse in Amsterdam where internet connection are low cost and easy to obtain, to have a poor wifi link.

This inexcusable neglect cost me time and real money as I had to pay for high priced data and cal roaming charges on my mobile phone.

My business lost more real value than the cost of the room.
