- Von der Centraal Station sind es ungefaehr 5 minuten zu Fuss (natuerlich ist es auch moeglich eines der Taxis vor der Centraal Station zu nuetzen). Ueberqueren Sie die Bruecke vor der Centraal Station und die Strasse danach, dann folgen Sie dem Buergersteig nach rechts und nehmen die zweite Strasse nach links. Danach sind es nur 70 m gerade aus bis zum Hoteleingang.

Wonderful Hotel in the heart of Amsterdam

This was my 2nd stay at the Crowne Plaza and it was great. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and kind.

The C.P. Amsterdam is a very good hotel, located in the center of Amsterdam.
I can hardly remember a hotel rendering better sercice than this hotel.
All the employees With whom I had contact were very polite and highly professional.

As you mention it is within walking distance of the Central Railway station and close to many highlights Amsterdam has to offer. However I am sorry to read that you were disappointed concerning the cold breakfast served in our New Dorrius restaurant. Some glitches

I've requested an early check-in around 12:00.
Arriving at 12:30 I was told to wait in the lounge until my room is ready.
At ~15:30, I approached the desk asking if my room was ready and got a replacement room instead.
I know that, because the room number, written on the form I signed , was not the room I ended up with.
After arriving at the room, I found only one bathrobe (while the order was for two people) and one pair of slippers.
During the first night, I found that one of the windows was open.
Trying to close it I found that for some reason, it was not possible.
While the noise from the banging window were minor, this made us carry some of our belongings in a bag just in case someone might use the window to their advantage.
