Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by Poor service, dirty rooms, broken elevators, hair in tub, no refrigerator, pool closed My families stay in the hotel was meant to be for convenience and relaxation. From the moment we arrived till the time we departed it was completely the opposite of convenience and relaxation. I wanted to cry by the second night! We arrived to a lack of luggage carts and had to carry a full family of 5 luggage from parking deck. Due to heavy volume of guests we were not able to even park at entrance to use valet. Once we were in the room we noticed right away the bathroom was not cleaned properly. Several strands of dark hair were in the bathtub and floor was dirty. From 5pm till 10 pm the front desk line and all other lines were so busy I could not get anyone to clean it!!! The front desk was so busy from being understaffed we could not get anyone in person to help us. The first night was so loud from street noise we all literally only slept 4 hours! I booked the hotel in particular because of the beautiful pictures they show online of the rooftop pool. It was CLOSED due to paint chipping and needed repair is what we were finally told after talking to 6 different staff members who had no clue????!!! Three children were highly disappointed after much anticipation and excitement of a rooftop pool. The second day we returned to our room keys not working because they checked us out of our room 1 day too early! We had to wait in the hallway for 30 minutes to get that straightened out. The managers response was very unapologetic and indifferent to the situation. Though we stayed another night we will NEVER stay again because the new management has a severe lack of customer service, professionalism, understanding , thoughtfulness ,FORETHOUGHT and fairness. We left the room the next morning and 7 am and did not leave the hotel until 8 am due to elevators not working and carrying all our luggage down 14 flights of stairs. Believe me we waited for 20-30 minutes for an elevator before daring to do such a thing with 6,10,12 year old children! WE LEFT THIS HOTEL 100% FRAZZLED,STRESSED, DISTRESSED, EXHAUSTED AND WEARY. This is my very first negative review for any hotel I have ever stayed in. I am 40 years old and have stayed at hotels since a teenager and have NEVER experienced such a shocking display of customer neglect . Do not believe the photos online or the managers copy and paste response to negative reviews. 29. Juli 2014

Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Good value for price, but needs updating I booked this hotel using an express deal without knowing what hotel I was getting, just that it was a 3 1/2 star hotel in Atlanta (later downgraded to a 3 star). Once I got the name of the hotel and read the reviews, I thought that I was going to be extremely disappointed. I arrived with a bit of an attitude expecting the worst. However, it wasn't that bad. The rooms were as clean as they could be for a hotel that needs significant updating. There is such potential in this hotel. The rooms are very spacious with a raised area at the balcony that provide extra space, however, there was no furniture so we justed used it for our luggage; but it could, if upfitted correctly, be a nice additional sitting area.The balcony doors are bolted shut so you can't use them. Not sure why. Hopefully the new ownership will put the money into bringing this hotel back up to date. The staff was friendly and helpful, but it is clear that they are stretched thin. However, during busy times, management was also present in the lobby and at the valet area helping out. We didn't have any problems with the valet. We never had to wait more than five minutes to get our car. We left our room early and returned around 2:00 PM and our room hadn't been cleaned. I was a bit disappointed in that. However, we left again around 4:00 PM to go to the Braves game and when we returned it had been cleaned. It was just unusally timing. Rooms are usually cleaned in the AM. The kids really enjoyed the pool. It is nicer than the picture. It was noisy at night with sirens, but it is across the street from an emergency room. What do you expect??? Overall, I was pleased with our experience for the price we paid. If upfits are completed, this could be a very nice hotel! 28. Juli 2014
