Great Location but undergoing renovations

There were renovations going on which I was not told about when I called the hotel the day before to confirm my reservation. The outdoor renovations were "closed" down around 5pm so noise wasn't a problem. The problem was that they were updating some kind of wiring inside the hotel and there were wires hanging from the ceiling on my floor in lots of places, ceiling dust and wood was also all over the floor. This gave the whole interior a dirty, dusty smell and look. I may return once all of the renovations are complete, but I felt that the staff should have given me the renovation information so that I could have made the decision to stay there or not!

Enjoyed the Crowne in Baton Rouge

Had a good stay at this property during a recent trip to Baton Rouge. Hotel staff was wonderful. Room furniture and bathroom was updated recently and very comfortable. Cost of room was reasonable. Would recommend this property to anyone who would need to stay in Baton Rouge.

Everything that was promised before making reservation was not included on arrival. Staff was completely non caring to the situation.
