very expensive for basic standard.

at a high cost ( more than double what i would expect for basic expectations) i would have expected tea and coffee condiments in the room-these had not been topped up, when asking for more we encounter difficulties, we were delivered glasses of milk not milkers and the resturant attempted to charge for these. The staff member in question was abbrassive and rude. not enough towels in the room for family members, cot i had asked for was not in the room, no disposable bags left in the bathroom. breakfast slow and burnt. reception staff however were very pleasent and we were very pleased with a free childrens film to rent during our stay.

Good hotel, great location

Good quality hotel. value for money. Short walk to the Mailbox, Broad Street, O2 Academy, New Street Station and the Bullring. Family room was large with 2 double beds. Only slight down side was demolition work at the back of the hotel, a bit noisy but double glazing kept the worst of it out.

all you could want on a city break

I stayed here on business for 3 nights, service was excellent. The comfort of the whole hotel is superb, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a city break in Birmingham.

A very bad nights sleep

Unfortunately we had a very bad sleep at this hotel. The room was incredibly hot and the air conditioning was far too noisy to put on. I ended up opening the window; this helped but unfortunately the major building works at the rear of the hotel started early in the morning along with the seagulls.
