Poor Experience

Single beds provided even though accommodation request from agency was double room. Smelled of smoke and location was poor too, on a ring road with no access to amenities.

Brought this to management attention however situation was not rectified.

I do acknowledge that a double room was requested, but all requests are subject to availability and on this occasion it was not possible to accommodate all requests. The smell of smoke has been investigated, but the room does not smell of smoke now and I have a presumption that the occupants previous to yourself may have been smokers and left an odour in the room. If this was the case, Housekeeping should have picked this up and ensured the room was sufficiently freshened prior to being ready for the next guest. There is also no record of previous guests smoking in that room; we do have a stringent no-smoking and charging policy for smoking in no-smoking rooms. I also note that you did not find the hotel’s location to your liking, which unfortunately cannot be changed, but it is dependent on the needs of the individual. However, the team on Reception would be able to assist with any request for information on amenities and how to get to them as most are within reasonable reach given how close the tube station is located. Your experience with this hotel is not reflective of our normal service levels and is not typical of the IHG brands; I do hope it does not deter you from using them again in the future. Comfortable space but questionable price

Facilities were average if not better. Great location. However, 200 pounds were held for incidentals and I did not receive it back for a month. Also the amount I had to pay was greater than the "estimated" that I'd received in the email.

Comfortable bed and room

Need better check in service particularly since I had requested by email earlier for a early arrival. Otherwise room is good and clean. Can do with a bigger size flat screen tv instead of a small old box tv.

Also on the TVs, unfortunately you missed out on seeing our brand new system with new 32" LEDs by one day. Hopefully you will have a need to return soon and see the differences.
