Experience was okay

Calling to make the reservation was a bright of a nightmare. The staffe kept placing my husband on hold and then hung up, which required us to call back. When he called the first time, someone answered ' How can I help you' not very professional.

Having said that when we checked in the Front Desk & Bell staff were great.
The disappointment was in the room.. The fixtures and room itself are old ; rust and cobwebs under the sink in the bathroom and the toilet had trouble flushing.
Recommend upgrading this facility to the Crown Plaza , Intercontinental standard of excellence.

Far Below Crowne Plaza Level

Lived in Beverly Hills for 20 years, so I believe this property used to be a lower-end still is. The valet and wait staff were great. Ms. Miley and Ms. Delfosse went out of their way to try and make my stay a pleasant one, but it was a losing battle. This may be the worst managed IHG property that I have ever spent time in....and as a Platinum Elite Ambassador that says a lot.

The halls were dirty, the elevator floors were filthy, bits of trash and paint are actually varnished into the floor, trash bins sitting outside of housekeeping (if you want to call it that) for hours, the trim around doors were missing paint, cheap/dim hall lighting. Upon check-in, the bath mat was so frayed it looked like a rag, then there was no hair dryer. Next day, there was NO bath mat at all. The housekeeper "no habla English". Seriously?!?! The towels and wash cloths were cheap, thin, scratchy, and stiff. The garage elevator looked like something from a "third-world" tenement...just awful. Took photos just to document this, in case "management" cared to dispute my review.

Great location, but just a cheap, ill-managed, tourist hotel, nothing like a Crowne Plaza....the Holiday Inn Express in Ozona, Texas (where?) blows this dump away.

While I was delighted to see you gave us 5 stars for service, I never want a guest of mine to feel the elevators were dirty and that housekeeping not up to par. We come to work everyday with the goal to be the cleanest and friendliest hotel in the area and the entire team is disappointed that we failed to live to one of our Platinum guests. Time for an upgrade

This hotel in undergoing major renovations. I'm sure it will be great when it is completed, but at the moment, its all looking a bit tired. Great location, wonderful staff but would love to have stayed their "after" the renovations were completed

great pillows and mattress

Slept like a baby! They said the upper floor was under construction, but never bothered us at all. Great room and was so pleased to wake up and never know that it was blazing sun shine out the window, but with the blackout curtains you would never know it. Great overall experience.
