Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Twin room chaos After booking a twin room for two nights my friend and I arrived at the hotel to be told the double bed would be changed to twin beds later that afternoon. On returning to our room at 11.30pm the bed had not been changed. reporting this fact to reception we were told it was not possible to have twin beds in room 522 due to its size so would have to move to another room once it had been made up. Three quarters of an hour later we moved to room 618 where there were twin beds pulled out in front of the bedside tables in exactly the same size room as the previous one we had. We never did get an explanation as to why the first room could not have been changed or why were weren't in a twin bedded room to start off with. Midnight is not the ideal time to start packing your belongings again to move rooms! Apart from this the hotel is ideally situated for a stay in Maastricht. 18. Juli 2014

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Great location, great service but expensive We were greated by the most efficient and helpful front desk person that I have ever dealt with. Our room was perfect. We stayed for breakfast and it was quite good. The location for shopping and restaurants was great. We were in Maastricht for an Andre Rieu concert so I expected to pay more for a room but it was quite expensive - but I would return and pay the price again. 16. Juli 2014

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by The perfect hotel. My wife and I decided to take a few days in Maastricht. The crowne Plaza was Perfect not to far from the railway station a very easy walk. on arrival at the hotel we were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist, although our room was not ready for us there was no problem, our bags were stored for us so that we could go straight out and do our own things. the hotel is very clean and tidy, the staff are prepared to go that little bit extra for you, in fact this is a very pleasant hotel in an ideal position. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Maastricht 10. Juli 2014
Rated 2,0 out of 5,0 by Good location but very expensive breakfast The location is good just by the river and it was very nice to have dinner by the water front. Complementary internet is normal these days. You also get this for free here. However, if you want to work at night and need some bandwidth, then find another place to stay/work. Breakfast not included in the room rate is in general annoying as a business traveler. At this hotel they charge you an unreasonable high rate for a standard hotel breakfast (it was good - as expected on a hotel in this category). Instead of the hotel breakfast I recommend the coffee shop just next to the hotel. In general this is an average hotel for business travelers. Breakfast and internet is on the negative side. Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by OK Hotel. Three stars is about right. Well, if you're loyl to IHG and need to stay in Maastricht, then this hotel is your only choice. In terms of service it's nowhere near as good as the CP in Amsterdam and the review generated 3 stars for my stay - I reckon that that's about right. The hotel is much improved since the new management took over. 30. Juni 2014
